Cyb - Flash-Image Banner Rotator
 

Info:
Easy to use/manage banner rotator which works with both, image and flash banners.


Features:
-one-step installation
-specify display duration/dimensions of individual image/swf
-set position on page and margins in ACP
-continuous and random play modes
-exclude usergroups from viewing banners
-automatically add banners to forum header (can be turned on/off)
-easy manage banners
-click counter


Installation:
1. Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
2. OPTIONAL: Open desired template and add "$cyb_flashimagebanners" where you wish banners to appear
3. OPTIONAL (if link to manage banners page is not shown in Quick links menu):
Open navbar template and add "$insert_cybfibr" after "$vbphrase[miscellaneous]</td></tr>"


To set options:
Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Cyb - Flash-Image Banner Rotator

-Part of the javascript code was originally written by M. K. Namdeo few years ago.
-Only SuperAdmins can access Banner Management page

Does not work. When I go to Quick Links to manage banners it takes me to my smilies page. Looks cool, but can't install if it doesn't work.

You must be Super-Admin to manage banners.

Thought I would point out, when you click the link in the installed products page, it takes you to the 3.7 version and not the 3.8

I have updated mine manually.

would there be anyway to get this to work with affiliate website's like Commision Junction ?

i have a simple question for you.

My forum dir is on www.mysite.com/forum/ but whenever I am on the vBadvanced CMPS (www.mysite.com/) all the banners do not show.

How can I make them show on my frontpage which is the vBadvanced CMPS

I include /forum/ in front of cyb_banners/ and it shows up on my vba.

so like this => /forum/cyb_banners/blahblah.jpg

My forum uses two themes. One that already has banners, and the other is just the VB Grey theme. Is it possible to only enable banners from CYB for just the VB Grey theme and not the alternate?

That fixed it. It show now after adding the forum name to the path.

Works great, I placed the "$cyb_flashimagebanners" in the ad_header_logo template.

But I need the image to align with the edge of my forum

I just installed this and I can get the first banner to show up, and it rotates to the others but the banner image doesn't show up on any of the others.

Any ideas?

Have tried several installs now, on both 3.8.0 and 3.8.1

No errors on install, but does not appear to be working.

If I select the quick-link Banner management, the Smilies Page appears.

Apart from the Hack Page under vBulletin Options, I can't see anywhere in the AdminCP to change anything...

Any help would be appreciated..

I placed $cyb_flashimagebanners in almost any template possible.

Any Chance to get a function to display Ads after X Post in Showthread?

Installed and working great...can someone help the newbie out though? I want it to only show on the main forum page and I see where I can enter "This_Script" locations but I am confused about syntax. Should I enter full URLs, relative paths, or name of file plus something? I am learning...sorry for the slowness...

Ok, there's one problem that i really haven't figured out.
How do i make the banners show up on the vBAdvanced CMPS page?
Cuz the ads are in the navbar template, which is used by the portal.
Please help!

Banners are automatically added to 'header' template and it shows for me on vBA without any special settings or template edits etc...

Only show in the ad_header_logo template. But other location not show. Please check again.
