Info:
Advanced PayPal Donate system for vBulletin.


Features:
-Allow users to donate suggested or custom amounts, or both
-Set minimum amount accepted

Installation:
1. Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]

2. OPTIONAL (for some customized styles)
Open template "navbar" and add "$cyb_paypal_donate_link" after "vbphrase[user_cp]</a></td>" surrounded by proper TD tags
3. OPTIONAL (for some customized styles)
Open template "navbar" and add "$cybpaypal_donlist_link" after "vbphrase[miscellaneous]</td></tr>" surrounded by proper TD/TR tags
4. OPTIONAL (to put DonBar to desired page)
a) set THIS_SCRIPT option in hack settings
b) Open desired template and put "$cybpaypal_donbar" where you wish to have Donation Bar shown


To set options:
Go to your AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Cyb - PayPal Donate

Yes, just upgrade/overwrite.

Don't uninstall older version as it will remove Donation logs from database.

One issue i am having after making a donation i add the user to a new user group, which in turn triggers a rank, but they do not get rebuilt. i have to rebuild the counters manually to update the ranks.?

Any update on this?

My donation member didn't move to the proper user group even after rebuilding. :confused:

Edit: Maybe I don't understand this fully.
I am able to view a donor and click to move to the donor group.
Is that how it is supposed to work? I thought it would be automagic like a subscription.

Also, even if someone clicks on the donate button without paying, they are placed on the donor list.

love it but now i installed vbadvanced and the donate botton is only

To enable in vBa CMPS: see the link in the description.

Quick links shows up on VBA and main forums but the URL to Donations page is incorrect when you click the link in quick links from the main page VBA..

In order for you to get the links to work on VBA like they do on your main forums you need to edit your Cyb XML.

Find the links that aren't working and add this code to the beginning of the link URL:

I found every link that ended with "misc.php?do=donlist" made the changes and then uploaded the XMl again with no changes at all. What am i doing wrong?

I have added OPTIONAL 2 & 3 but the Donate link is still not showing !

The subscriptions show up in the dropdown as:

Members won't know what that means. Can that be changed to have text? Like, Donate $5 & subscribe for 6 months.

1) When people donate, is paypal setting up a subscription?
Will paypal automatically hit people's paypal accounts?

2) Will PayPal Donate prompt members that their subscription is about to expire?

3) Will members move from my donor usergroup to registered at the end of their subscription?

4) I'm seeing more and more PSA google ads because google is picking up donate.
Is there something I could do to avoid so many PSAs?

I still have not been able to fix this either. When I click on the donation link from my forum it works fine, when I click on the donation link on my vbadvanced page it does not work.

Example:

Forum link goes to; mysite/forums/misc.php?do=donate

Vbadvanced link goes to; mysite/misc.php?do=donate

For the life of me, I can not get the Donate navbar link to work on the Vba CMPS homepage.

It always points to http://www.sanjiyan.co.uk/misc.php?do=donate

I've put 'index,adv_index' in the Show DonBar on (comma separated THIS_SCRIPT locations) options.

But it still does not work.

Also the 'View Donations' etc on the drop down box/menu on the CMPS page also points to: http://www.sanjiyan.co.uk/forums/misc.php?

On the main forum page, it all works as it should.

Had the same issue.

I went in to Plugin Manager and edited "Cyb - PayPal Donate - Link". Added the forum URL before the "misc.php?do=donate"

I figured out how to fix this no thanks to the coder. You no if you are going to make a mod then you should give support for it. Great mod though.

If you are having the same problem as i was. then do this. go to Plugin Manager then Edit Cyb - PayPal Donate - Link then look in the Plugin PHP code box for <a href="misc.php?'.$session['sessionurl'].'do=donlist"
And change it to <a href="http://www.yoursite.com/forum/misc.php?do=donlist"

Just make sure you have the full correct URL.

It would be great if we could have buttons of specified amounts for members to click on to easily go to the paypal.com... just like in old Paypal Donations plugin...

Hmm this mod is not really Donation system. It's more like buying because when my members tried to Donate by using this mod, Paypal said: Unit Price | Quantity | Amount instead of Purpose | Donation amount | Total

The donation bar does not work for me. We have set the goal for $50.00 and it is at $71.00 and the bar did not show at all. Is there a bug that does not allow it to show at all? Everything else works fine.
