It was re-useable code so I decided to improve it alot.

Compatible with 3.5.x, 3.6.x, 3.7.x, and 3.8.x!!

About:
This script allows you to generate some members to your forum. This script is perfect for forums that need to 'boost' registration rates. I would rather register at a big forum over a smaller one!

I don't use a CMPS on my forum therefore I do not know the coding of it. If someone wants to do that for me, I will be very grateful.

The product is not fully stable. The member generator is fine though.

this would be great if you could show the users in the who's online at certain times.

I was wondering if there's a function to remove all the users that you've added later on in time? For example, you have a new forum or a forum that needs a boosts...you create new users and after 2 months your forum is alive with genuine members. Now I want to remove the fake members, can this be done or can it be implemented in future releases please?

now I show members visited today as a lot and the past 24 hours but how can I get the currently active users to get that showing also other wise it will look funny on the portal

Do you use fake money also? I mean come on, just do a better job promoting your site instead of creating fake users.

i found the fix for that. open the FakeLoggedinUsers.xml file in word or other editor. find ('$activeusers .= ", ' . fetch_template. remove the comma i marked in red

I will be sure to update this as soon as the next release. Havent had time to do it though.

This hack is a bit overboard I think....

i have a problem with this in vBulletin 3.8.1
i installed this but in admin cp=>User Generator (User Generator v1.4) not open page! and show my forum home page! so i can't register new members with this

but online users and guests worked

Um you might want to make the removal of numbers and the names not as spammy. Also, a lot of people use CMPS, you might want to add a feature like that ^_^.

Finally, you might want to set a timer for how long someone wants to keep random users on the online user list.

I mean come'on...this is getting really desperate to get members.

I love this idea but i too would like to maybe see a feat that u could add that would make the users actually appear that they were logged in and make the total users on line option be "realistic" if you have this hack added I would consider using it on my board if these options were added

This is a great mod. But if you think. This is a mod that is still in development. So it might not work with all the mods for vBulletin that work with the whos online thingy. So if your that worried about it work. then well you best try and get it working as i think the guy of this mod has done a lot. He could of not made this mod for vBulletin 3.8.x so just thank him for that. Also stop twining and work it out and then tell the developer what you did. then he may give you a credit. So before you twine about something not working. Try 1 thing. Work it out and if that fails then as for support from here.

this would be good if you could delete users and they showed up on who's online and when i delete the , all the users names join up if there is only 1 real user on it

I couldn't agree with you more. There's no real point of having a lot of members if your forum is dead. You could have all the members in the world, but your board would still have the same amount of posts.

Then again, I could see why people would want this. I however, will NOT be using this.

This idea behind this mod is completely ridiculous. You don't really think that people are so dumb that they won't spot the huge discrepancy between number of members and forum activity, do you?

Or maybe this is just part one of your two-part salvo, the second of which is a script that automatically starts posting generic phrases from each of those fake members.
