Your first car?

What was your first car? Make, Model, Year, Color....
How old where you when you got it?
How much did it cost?
How did you trick it out, if you did?
Was there anything special about it?
Was it a good make out car? LOL

and anything else...

A 69 VW Bug
I think I was 18 years old.
$250 from my parents, I think.
The only modifying I did to it was to put in an FM Radio. :)
Nope. Except it's the only car I've ever gotten a ticket in (knock on wood)
Hehe. No. The stick shift was in the way in the front, and the back seat was minuscule!

1974 Chevy Stepside
2500.00
New motor, New Trans, Stereo, paint, lowered (it was the 80's afterall)

Then totaled a few months later lol

A Dirt Grey 199something Saturn LS. Well, I'm pretty sure it was dirt colored, as I never felt the need to wash it. I paid a friend $2000 for it used. There was nothing great about it, and I never felt the need to do anymore to it then put in some oil, since it seemed to consume motor oil like an alcoholic locked in an ABC. I was 25... long story.

'72 Orange Datsun with Black interior...
Original sterio

Ohhh yeah... :D (I'm dating myself huh... You guys thought I was young ;) )

Rom.. LOL OMG> Me TOO! Exact same car only a few years later. That thing always sounds like a lawn mower. If I remember correctly mine had a black fat strip down the sides. It was sort of a pumkin orange color. My friend had a bright yellow one.

I tell ya, that thing ran forever!!! Mine belonged to my Grandparents
(they bought it new) and I bought it from them for about $450... It had black leather interior so it was 'very' hot in the summer... I swore never to buy a car with dark interior again...

It was a nice little car and easy to maintain... My second car was an 80's version of the same car (tan colored) and was made by Nissan/Datsun...

Man you guys must have been rich. I was always jealous of those that could afford plastic.

I was subjected to metal wheels and wooden skateboards.:D As Peter Griffen says, "Basteadddddds" LOL
