OT: BTW, do you know anything about "The Gimp"?

Fungsten 12-19-2008 04:57 PM

It overwrote the default style!!! I checked the settings and it did it again!! Has anyone else had this?????

southernlady 12-19-2008 05:36 PM

You load it into images> the entire folder labeled Cherish.

The default style is the entire images folder itself. You are putting a new folder inside that style. See the attached thumbnail for a better example.

I know it's a free Imaging graphics program that is pretty decent. http://www.gimp.org/

That's where it is.

The documentation isn't too good with it. I'll take a look at it again. Thanks.

I designed this one no differently than I have any other but I did discover this morning when taking screen shots that my styles were acting all goofy. This one IS coded for 3.8 RC2 and they just released that late last night. There may be a bug in it that we just found.

When I was doing screen shots, every link I clicked took me back to the default style in FF and to another style in IE even tho I told it to use Cherish.

But I promise I did not touch any template except the header and that one was thru the All Styles Option to add the logo. All coding is css ONLY. It should not be behaving strangely.

BigDog56 12-28-2008 06:27 AM

Very nice. Thank you very much!

drupy 01-24-2009 07:48 AM

This style is what I have been looking for! It shows all my links in the navbar, just exactly like what the Default style does, the blog and all other mods I installed. Thank you so much!
I am using version 3.8.0 and I have no problem with it.
Please keep up the good work.

southernlady 01-24-2009 11:29 AM

Thank you for your kind words. Liz

drupy 01-25-2009 01:46 PM

Thanks for the update. I have become your fan so I checked all the styles you posted here. I wish you would update your other styles for older version of Vbulletin too. They are so beautiful, especially the ones with the scenic backgrounds like mountains and beaches.
Thank you very much again and I will be looking forwards to your new designs.

I may remake them someday but updating those is no longer possible. They are simply too old now. Too many versions between the ones I made and the one we are using now.

Thanks for the compliment.

I understand. Thanks anyway!

RedHacker 02-01-2009 11:29 AM

I download Cherish Style but when i change the screen 100% (full screen) a logo on top its saws on left and i cant centered....

southernlady 02-01-2009 02:39 PM

That's because the style isn't set for a 100% but for a fixed width. Give me a day or two and let me see if I can reconfigure it for a fluid width. Liz

RedHacker 02-01-2009 05:33 PM

OK Thank You...

afterglow 02-04-2009 04:20 AM

Wow, just the kind of theme i was looking! Thanks for this amazing, great looking and very romantic skin!!

regards,
afterglow

RedHacker 02-09-2009 01:51 PM

Ι cant show to button thanks.....

southernlady 02-10-2009 12:39 PM

Which buttons aren't showing? Can you give me a screen shot or point me to your forum? Liz

RedHacker 02-13-2009 03:43 PM

Thanks button...?

southernlady 02-13-2009 04:21 PM

I don't see a "Thanks Button" in the original file. That's what I base my set on is the original set. Liz

RedHacker 02-13-2009 04:23 PM

I dont understand... :(

southernlady 02-13-2009 04:38 PM

I'm not understanding either...

What button are you missing?

Liz

RedHacker 02-13-2009 04:43 PM

Look...

southernlady 02-13-2009 05:28 PM

Did you happen to install the Post Thank You Hack by Abe1?

If you did, that is a button that is not in the normal set of vb buttons and I didn't make one for hacks outside of the normal set. I made a blank button in the (both in psd and in pspimage format) just for that instance.

Liz

RedHacker 02-14-2009 08:44 AM

By Abe...?Where are Abe post...?

southernlady 02-14-2009 11:30 AM

Yes, this modification here It uses a button that does not exist in the standard vb download. He created the Thank you button. So to need a thank you button, it is either this modification or the other modification located here.

The standard set doesn't come with a Thank you button. Liz

RedHacker 02-14-2009 01:09 PM

Yes i have install this product....

southernlady 02-14-2009 01:31 PM

That is why I included a blank in the "do not download" folder so that you could make one of your own that was not part of the original set.

Font used is Arial Narrow, Size 7 Bold.

Liz

RedHacker 02-14-2009 01:50 PM

Where blank button...?Not found....

southernlady 02-14-2009 02:11 PM

Didn't you download the regular Cherish File? It's in the Do Not Upload Folder. Liz

RedHacker 02-14-2009 03:29 PM

Liz i said for the thanks button....

southernlady 02-14-2009 04:40 PM

I know you said for the Thanks Button.

If you look in your default vb buttons image folder, you will see these buttons that I have attached as a screen shot. There is not a Thanks button in that screen shot. That was created by the mod designer just for that hack.

He even includes the thanks button in his zip file since it isn't part of the default set.

That's why I said you would have to make the equivalent one for Cherish. I included blank ones just for this reason but I have no way of knowing how many mods are out there using extra buttons that are not part of the default set. So I make just the default set and include blanks.

Liz
