Computer science isn't a field of engineering.

nexialys 12-15-2008 06:14 PM

Well, if it's directed a person, it's most probeberly an insult to us lower humans.

And I'm a full time angry moron... Erm... self employeed, run a shop. By the way, anyone want to buy a lamp ;)

nexialys 12-15-2008 07:28 PM

i'm not specifically a lower human, so i take that not as an insult but as a proof that using bablefish is not good... LOL

btw, yeah, most of the time i'm a developer, so i have straaaaaange ideas

Ryan Ashbrook 12-15-2008 08:07 PM

Web Developer.

Kart_13 12-15-2008 08:34 PM

Full time web developer

Seems common here, but I am not surprised.

nexialys 12-15-2008 08:38 PM

actually it is not common, but the only participants on this forum are the ones who are providing code...

btw, web developer is not coder... a lot of guys here have a tag they do not deserve... developing means you create... not copy/paste.

Kart_13 12-15-2008 08:41 PM

Yeah that is true

This is a true statement.

In fact, I had the pleasure of firing a staff member from another site because he claimed he was a web developer but all he did was take someone else's code and removed all copyright and claimed it as his own.

I work in Customer Service for an onling Gaming Site (hosts Tournaments) - over 9Million members. (which has nothing to do with my forum...sadly)

Rapscallion 12-17-2008 11:29 AM

Company director. I managed to get a whoopee cushion into the minutes once.

When not in the board room (half a day a week - two-year electing position ending in a few weeks), I could be loading trucks, checking off chilled deliveries, taking sales orders, amending sales orders, coordination chilled picking, answering questions in customer information, and generally doing whatever's needed.

When my place says it believes in mult-skilling, it means it.
