Remove Forum Last Post Etc
 

Here's an example:

Basically, I have removed the top bar.
But I would like to add it to the other forums.

What code/template do I need?

I cannot tell what you want to do. But, if you are wondering what template something is in, this may help - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code.

I have removed the : Forum - Last Post - Threads - Posts that sit above the forums here:

However, how can I add the Forum - Last Post - Threads - Posts to another catergory, ie:

Are different templates used to spit out the category header for "PC Info Base" vs. "Main Category"? If so, just add the code that you took out (from the first image) into the template that is used by the Main Category.

Hmmm, then it seems you may have to put in a condition in order to spit out that table header. Something like:

It would go into the same template that spits out the category strip - I think you said it was 'forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost'. It may already have the <table>, so you may only have to add the stuff in the <thead> tags.

Right, I tried playing around with that but it wasnt working.
I did some more research and found this:

This worked for me, so I didn't need that conditional.
However I still want it removed from the 'pbc info' category in that picture I linked to.

So who can I have it in some and not it others?

If you only want it shown for certain forums and not others, then you will need to use a condition.

Fair enough, but I tried the condition but could get it to work.

Usually, the best way to get help instead of just saying "it doesn't work" is to spell out exactly what you did - tell us the template or file and post the contents of what you did using the html/php tags around the code. And, an image of the result or telling us what happened would help.

Also, sometimes the best thing to do is spit out the variables right in your page so you see what is going on. Put $foruminfo['forumid'] right there in the template and see what number gets spit out and see if you've been using the correct id. Sometimes you have to play with code to get it to work unless you are some master coder who always gets it right the first time.

However it removed Forum - Last Post - Threads - Posts from the catergorys.
