As of 24 Nov 2017 this modification has been withdrawn.

This displays a page with the Top Forum Posters for a given set of periods. Two periods are fixed ('This Month' & 'Overall') but can be turned off in the options. The other three periods are user definable (in days) - the default values are 1 day, 7 days & 28 days. These three columns cannot be turned off.

The number of posters to be shown can also be set, the default is the top 10 posters. You can also select which usergroups are included (or excluded) in the count, so members in banned groups etc are not shown.

If enabled, this will also attempt to add a link to your Quick Links or Community Links. There is also an option to prefix the link path if you use something like CMPS.

To install just unzip the xml file and import it using the Product Manager

v3.8.004 - Fix possible array issue.

Hi There,

I've installed the add-ons ... thanks for that. I'm new to vB - so my question might be too childish.

1. Top Posters link color is white - though other top nav links are black. How to change that?
2. Table data are aligned in center. How to aligned left?
3. Table data has alternate colors ... I want just table border color. No background color. How to do that?

Installed fine. Thanks for the update. I have one problem on one of my forum sites though. The post count for several members is in the millions! I don't know how that could have happened but is there a way to refresh the counters?

Follow up... the numbers only seem to be off in the "Overall" column and they are all (4,294,967,295). :confused:

The overall column is read straight from the user table, so it must have strange values in it.

Very strange how those numbers could have appeared in only about a dozen user accounts. I opened each user account in the Admin CP and deleted the numbers there and all is back to normal now. Thanks for your help.

Quick follow up Paul... if I only wanted a certain User Group to show up in the Top Posters display, what would I edit to make that happen? One of our forums transitioned to a subscription site and only a certain user group has access to post and participate now. I would like to limit the Top Posters display to that usergroup. Thanks for your help and for this great mod!

What usergroups are counted is one of the settings in the mods options.

Yea, this is strange, I hate to be a bother, but it's not displaying for me either anywhere, is that because of the daily 24 hour period before doing so?

I found mine under the community links. I really appreciate that it was installed in a drop down menu because with all of these mods, my navbar is out of whack. Now I have to work on that.

As the main post says ;

Bug? If I put 7, 14, 28 for days, the first column shows up as Last Day instead of Last 7 Days.

Also, how can I get rid of one column if I put 0?

You have to edit the phrase yourself.

If I could make a request, it'd be to add an option to set a custom date range in the AdminCP. This would be extremely helpful for those running a posting contest, for example.

Is it possible to have the counters update a thread automatically?

For example:

I Make a new thread called..... "Top Posters For April"

In the thread i put........

1st: Member a = 85
2nd: Member b = 60
3rd: Member c = 40

But everytime those members post more, theit ppost counts in that thread goes up

I have the "This Month" column enabled, but I was wondering if there was a way to fetch "Last Month" data instead.

I looked at the code but couldn't find a way to hardcode it.

I already installed this mod, but have some bug i think, for the post counting display.

in the image above, that written there at the first place.. last day total post = 13
That first column on the setting admincp i set it to 1, cause i want daily top poster list.
But after i check the Top Poster username's post...there only have 10 post on the last day, and another post are from 2 days ago, i don't know the other 3 post that written on the list come from where.....

And thats the same problem too with the second position Top Poster list
