Halo 3 Recent Games Tab v1.0

Description
This vBulletin product displays a profile tab for your members
showing their recent Halo 3 games and statistics.


Features

• adds users recent Halo3 games stats to a profile tab
• This product integrates by default with Gamefields Icons Userfields Product
• You can choose to display as first or last profile tab.
• You can choose your own user profile field if needed.
• No Template Edits! Uses plugins, phrases and hooks
• admincp settings enable/disable/display options

Requirements

• This product uses the simple_xml function released with PHP5
  You must be running PHP5 - will not work on php4
• If you have modified your member profile templates (ie, Facebook MySpace hacks), this Mod may not work.
  (must be running a tabbed-type profile.)

INSTALLATION

1. Upload xblcache folder to forum/ (or create your own folder)
   You can set your own cache folder from settings.
   (If you already have the Xbox Live Info mod installed,
   you can use the same cache folder for both mods.)
   
2. CHMOD your cache directory per your server suggested.
   This mod must be able to write xml files to cache folder.
   
3. Import the XML file into your Product manager
4. Go to vBulletin Settings->Bungie Info Tab
   Set up your preferences and enable product.

I haven't downloaded nor installed this mod, but I was attracted by the huge PHP5 warning. Maybe you already knew this, but I just wanted to tell you that you can specify the product dependency to PHP5 in the product definition in AdminCP Product Manager.

Anyhow, good luck :)

It is a product dependency. I just add the warning to save people the trouble
of running through the download and installation before hitting the import message.

Will this one work with 3.7.2 or only 3.7.4?

It should work will many versions but I cannot guarantee it.

Alright cool, well I am going to upgrade my php version sometime this week cause I'm still running php 4:P I'll give it a try and let you know if it works or not.

Sweet, I'll definetly install it later tonight or tomorrow then, also Bilderback you think you could make one to get Gears 2 stats? Epic is running a system close to Bungie, probably a lot simpler actually.

Where can I find a website or feed displaying Gears stats?

I was looking at how they display their stats, and their site is a bit difficult. With Bungie each player has their own URL basically, so it's easy to just change out the gamertag and grab their stats. Although with Gearsofwar.com, the player doesn't have their own stats url..so there is really no way to "grab" the stats..(Sorry if I'm confusing...lol)


EDIT: I was also looking at the Call Of Duty: World At War site for their stats, the way to retrieve stats for a player is similar to Bungie, but the only problem is each player has their own ID number, so you can't grab stats by Gamertag..

this mod looks sick, i run a halo 3 fan forum so it will be amazing...it says site unavailable so hopefully i can download it soon...would there be anyway to display more than just the 10 recent games? like maybe total kills, total deaths, etc.
