The following is a piece of rather silly and pointless BBCode, however it is rather funny. Although I take no responsibility if your forum members start to argue as a result of it ;)

Anyway, today I came across this site:

In summary, this is one of those joke websites that is aimed at those people that "don't know" how to use Google. You enter a search string, the site gives you a URL and you can then use that on forums etc etc.

This BBCode allows your members to easily create "Let me google that for you" links in posts. To do this your users would enter:

This will display a clickable link the the LMGTFY page for that phrase.

To create the BBCode goto:

ACP -> Custom BB Codes -> Add New BB Code

Then enter the following:

• Title : Let me Google that for you
• BB Code Tag Name : google
• Replacement :
  
  
  Code:

• Example : [google]vbulletin forum[/google]
• Description : For those who don't know how to use Google
• Use {option} : No
• Button Image (Optional) : leave blank *
• Remove Tag If Empty : Yes
• Disable BB Code Within This BB Code : Yes
• Disable Smilies Within This BB Code : Yes
• Disable Word Wrapping Within This BB Code : No

* If you want you can specify a button image as this will allow you to put the BBCode onto the post editor window.

This BBCode should work for all recent versions of vBulletin

Edit, that logo posted above gets resized. 50px × 21px (scaled to 21px × 20px)

something to note, does anyone have one in the correct size that is transparent?
