Gamefields Icons v1.1

This is my first mod and is a spinoff of the IM & GT Icons by Datenpapst.
They are different mods with different code - same concept.
I would like to thank Datenpapst for allowing me to enhance
his original mod for 3.6.5 here.

Description
This hack adds 3 fields to the User Control Panel allowing members to enter their gaming information in profiles.

Features

• adds game id fields for users - edit your details
• displays game icons in profile - contact tab
• displays game icons in memberslist, postbit and post legacy
• No Template Edits! Uses plugins, phrases and hooks
• admincp settings enable/disable/display options
• Reusable code in $user array - fields added to user database table

INSTALLATION

1. Upload images
2. Import Product XML

1. Import XML and select Allow Overwrite

NOTICES
1. This hack adds three database fields in your user table.
Provided "as is" with no warranty.I take no responsibility for your board
Always make a back up before modifying anything
2. The profiletab plugin uses str_replace for display.
If you have modified your profile templates, (ie Facebook MySpace template hacks),
the plugins and hooks may not work for your forum.
Since this is my first attempt at vBulletin, I cannot fully support this mod.
But I will try to provide some support if time allows.

Super nice mod you have made. But maybe you can make, so i can change the title in admincp and change the icon

I meen so i can change Nintendo to Xfire / Xbox Live Gamertag to clanbase..

Thanks, glad you like it but I give alot of credit to Datenpapst for the concept.

A future version may have the Xfire and Clan fields added to it
with options to disable/enable each field.

Quit working all the sudden. Updated, no luck. Uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing.

Just disappeared.

We are using the Facebook, Private Message Popup Hack...

what quit working?
Are you using any Mods that required template edits?
If youre using the Facebook Profile template hacks, there are no tabs to hook in profile.
Memberlist and Postbits should still display fine.
If you could provide more details or PM me your site url, I can take a look.

He has been working on other mods but plans to be back on this one in a day or 2.

I could probably edit the code for you to show Xifre instead of Wii and Clanbase instead of gamertag, you'll have to wait for him to update the admincp options.

Top mod, though I'm getting the below error when viewing my profile after entering an Xbox live ID :

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in E:\domains\r\roxorx.co.uk\user\htdocs\forums\membe r.php(454) : eval()'d code on line 61

This is in conjunction with Xbox Live Gamercard Block in Profile, not sure which bit is causing the issue, any ideas?

Neither mods use cURL so it must be another one.
Possibly the Xbox Live Recent Games in Profile Tab mod which does use cURL.
I am working on a fix for that mod.

Hmm, it seems to be down to the 'User Field' setting in some way, as if I edit that to a non-existent value such as 'field5' instead of 'gf_xbox' then it will just display 'No Gamertag on file.' Not sure if that helps at all?

I forgot can it be made to add networks via the Admin panel kinda like adding a profile field.

I know there are a fews things out for Steam but could you add one and also make these clickable like the IM icons.

Thank you. I have been searching for stats/cards sites.
If anyone has a problem with this mod, it appears that I didnt add templates
and phrases to the Master Style when creating it, so a vbulletin update may overwrite them
from what I was told.
I'll look into it and plan to clean up some code and release a better version soon.

Sounds good can't wait till the next release. I'm not sure about Wii cards but if I find one I'll post it as well.

I noticed when editing a users details, such as when an admin or mod edits them, not the user, the fields for the games are listed, but when the individual tries to view them from his/her CP panel, they are not visible.

Does it works with 3.6x?
besides, can split PS, to cover PS3 & PSP?

I believe that I messed up the templates by not putting them in Master Style
and will have to fix with next update.
If you have upgraded your vBulletin version after you installed the mod
this could be the reason for the recent problems.
(trying to get a new release out)

Hasnt been tested on 3.6
Are there multiple ID's spanning the PS Network?
I assumed their was only one. (being the Xbox gamer I am :o )

There is only PSN since it like Wii's network and Xbox Live wich are wide spread networks like Steam.

I am waiting for the final release and i hope it can take xbox live tag from "Xbox Live Gamercard Block in Profile" field and both mods can work together.

I already posted the real PSN icon on the last page if you want to use it.

I appreciate you looking into this.

I use one Parent style, and then use the other templates as children, thus they filter the "mods/hacks" down to the children.

Saves from modding each template everytime we add/change something.

I would love this ability as well. Or actually, I would like to be able to have the gXboxLive mod pull from your field in the User table instead of being forced to choose a field ID from User Profile Fields.
