Members who have posted today.
As of 24 Nov 2017 this modification has been withdrawn.
This plugin adds a simple display of all members who have posted in the forum - either today (i.e. since midnight) or in the last 24 hours. The main features of the 3.8 Version ; 1. It displays the list on Forum Home. 2. The list view is collapsable, so you just see the number of posters. 3. Invisible users are only displayed to those allowed to see them (with a "*") 4. Users who should display as coloured or bold etc will be displayed correctly. (based on the display usergroup) 5. If you 'hover' over a username it will show the time they last posted. 6. The list is in member name order. 7. If you click on a members name it will list their posts. 8. The option to record and display the Most Ever posters can be enabled. 9. The ability to turn it on/off is in the ACP Forum Home Options. 10. The ability to allow only certain usergroups to view the list is an ACP option (include or exclude groups). 11. The switch between Posted Today and Rolling 24 Hours is an ACP option. 12. The listing of names can now be suppressed (a simple message is displayed instead). 13. The list of names can be set to be always collapsed on initial view. (Options are located in vBulletin Options > Who Has Posted). Unzip the XML and import into vB using the ACP Product Manager. Template Hook Please note that this modification uses the following template hook in the FORUMHOME template ; forumhome_wgo_pos2 This must be present in any customised template/style you are using, otherwise this modification will not display. History: v3.8.001 : Initial release for vb 3.8.x v3.8.002 : Fix Most Ever Display Bug. |

i have a custom template and it dont show on it is there a custom code i can put in the area i want on forum home?

This requires the template hook "forumhome_wgo_pos2" to be present, you need to add that to your custom template.

Thanks Paul, great mod as all your others.
|
Not to sound ignorant, but does that hook belong in the forumhome template? And if so, where would it go and what would be the correct way to put it there?
When I upgraded from 3.7 to 3.8 I lost the plug in. It was working fine with my 3.7 templates. Thanks Quote:

Just check the default forumhome template [against yours] and you will see the missing hook(s).
|

Cool thanks paul for another great mod
|
i have a problem it's dont see.
|
I'm not sure if this a bug but when it shows a user has posted, you then notice it's a single post and then remove it (permanently) - that user still shows he has posted? Shouldn't he be removed from the list when this happens?
With your other plugin which, lists all users who logged on. If I remove (delete) one of those users then they also get removed from the visited list. |
There is a bug, but not in this mod.
It appears that vbulletin does not update the users lastpost timestamp when a post is deleted. Its a vb bug. |

Great stuff.
If you don't mind me asking can you include a feature which, records the number of people posted everyday and it can be viewed in the form of some sort of list/table? This can reveal how active your forum is for new people who sign up. Just a thought and I wouldn't mind paying to see this feature implemented! :) |
Sorry, I dont think thats ever likely to be added.
|
Paul, is there anyway to reset the record back to default? A query perhaps?
|
Not really any easy way no.
|
Thanks Paul!!!!Great mod
|
For those who have personal style as well as mine.
In FORUMHOME template find: Code:
<!-- end logged-in users --> Code:
$template_hook[forumhome_wgo_pos2] |
i love this Add-on. How can I change "Members who has post today" into "Friends who has post today" ??
