Making a Post That Contains a Form?
 

How is this done?
Is there a mod/plguin for this?

Im using 3.7.4

search "form" "all mods" "titles only" and you'll find a Form Hack

the only 1 available is 1 that is aimed at CODERS! not non-coders!
I personally think that us PAYING MEMBERS deserve something better

We are all paying members here. And, all the modifications are free and written by other paying members.

If you need something easy, then search Stencil and use the Stencil Hack instead.

I think you misunderstand what vB.org does here. Your paying for vBulletin, nothing more, nothing less. The modifications here are being supplied by people that have nothing to do with vBulletin, in their spare time. They don't get paid for any of this, neither do the volunteer staff that moderates it. So, us paying members are getting exactly what we paid for, plus some free stuff from slightly more knowledgeable vBulletin customers.

Aside from that, not all modifications can be plug and play. Sometimes for the utmost functionality, and for something to do exactly what you want it to do, you have to dig into lines of code for a little bit. Some of these mods are harder to install then most. But if you give them a once over, particularly the Form Hack, you'll see that coding skills have nothing to do with it. It's just a matter of putting a line here and a line there, and the toughest part is just keeping it straight in your head. But your not really doing any hard coding, just putting variables where the author tells you they need to placed.

dont get me wrong, this hack is useful to some people, but not others.
I myself know html & php. However theres approx 87 pages on that hack, most are members that cant get it to work

Then don't use it. I've set it up successfully on my site to try it out, so it does work if set up properly. I didn't end up using it though. Like I said before, if you want something really easy to setup and use, try the Stencil Hack.

How exactly do you know that most members can't get it to work?

It's really not all that bad, once you read the documentation, it's pretty self explanatory. But it takes effort. Like I said, it's not plug and play.

If we were to presume that all 349 people who've posted in that thread haven't been able to make it work (which is unlikely) that still leaves 829 people that haven't reported any problems (going by the install count). Really, I'm no coder and I got it working. Give it a try and actually go over the documentation. It's not as all difficult as that. And I don't know any PHP at all.

Well im actually in the process of making a plugin that requires no or very little ocding skills
