I would like nice, honest reviews about my site, because I want to be able to add anything that will make people join!

I think you need a better banner, one that goes better with the nifty circles. other than it's nice. It's a nice style which is light and easy on the eyes. You've got a big number of forums which might be off putting to some people, especially on a new forum with not many posts happening yet. You might want to merge a few, or take some away and add them as required.

banner is horrible and to big and not central to the board.
You have way to many sections with no content (1 or 2 posts does not mean content)

i not sure if it is the new one, but the banner is way to big. It is to long for the forum it self. It makes you scroll over, which can get rid of viewers.

Get rid of the frontpage blog, install VBadvanced and do your blogging on there. Also, get a friendlier theme and make your header smaller.

You need to create a cohesive feel between the site and forums. They look like 2 completely different sites. And the reason people are telling you that your banner does not fit your forums is because your banner is a fixed width and the forum is not. So it does not look the same on different resolutions. The banner on the front page looks quite amateurish as well.

Oh, OK! I am having my designers make new banners and we are having a Banner Rotactor.
I am going to ask the designer who made that to make sure it is not big anymore. I will be looking for a good style for the Joomla homepage. Thank you, RL!

Hmm..Nice, however some of the banners are a tad..crappy. I like the style and look though..might want to get a style like that on your homepage.

Umm.. Yeah, some of them are, I have to agree. The ones made on paint, but there are some amazing ones.

Get rid of JOOMLA !!!

If you want a WIKI get MEDIAWIKI

if you want CMS get CMS

if you want a forum get a FORUM

Implement stuff seamlessly by good coding rather than shoehorning a collection of stuff to try and fit.

Personally:
I would ditch Joomla/Mambo they are crap and slow.

Create your own VB powered pages, and hand code CMS stuff into the VB pages. With some careful link structure, you can create a total website, that appears how you want it to appear.

However, I agree with Timber when I say that I wouldn't use Joomla if I was paid to. Either go custom, or maybe learn and use Drupal.. Though, integrating vBulletin into anything is just a massive mess, and is sure to cause more headaches than you probably want..
