In fact I know someone who suffer that problem... ;)

Paul M 11-01-2008 08:21 PM

You should drink the Zero version (like I do), no sugar in it ;)

nexialys 11-01-2008 08:37 PM

ARGH, Zero versions...

like a nulled Dr Pepper...

Agreed. Diet Dr. Pepper does not taste like regular Dr. Pepper. ;)

I'm still a Pepsi man btw. ;)

I hate Diet Dr Pepper - but dont confuse that with Dr Pepper Zero - different taste entirely. :)

Spank 11-02-2008 11:21 PM

Zero tastes different from the original also. I hate most diet/zero equivalents, although I prefer Pepsi Max to Pepsi.

nexialys 11-03-2008 12:41 AM

i prefer coffee... no need to filter cafeine, we know we drink some.

SEOvB 11-03-2008 01:58 AM

Pepsi > *

KevinL 11-03-2008 02:34 AM

The zeros are so much better then the diets. A nice strong coffee is always the best though!

lasto 11-03-2008 02:40 AM

anything Diet is crap - and pepsi is an aqquired taste and one i dont have as i hate pepsi.
Pepsi is an Inferior drink when compared to Coca Cola (the real thing).

KevinL 11-03-2008 02:43 AM

Well real coca cola is the best out of any of them...but if you do drink a lot of soda it isn't a bad idea to drink some sort of zero or diet....just saying haha

Pepsi was never meant to be a Coke "clone". ;)

I personally can drink both but I can tell a difference in the two. Coke likes to linger around afterwards for some reason while Pepsi seems a bit smoother. I think any drink is an acquired taste other than water. For example I hated drinking beer until about two years ago just because of the taste. These days I can tolerate it and do enjoy some beers (I hate most of the domestic stuff aside from Sam Adam's).

Roms 11-03-2008 03:22 AM

Coke, Cherry Coke, or Mtn Dew... :D

Sorry Brad, I don't like the taste of Pepsi too sugary tasting... I cried the day the made Real Coke because it tasted just like Pepsi... :(

Now, you pour some whiskey in that Pepsi and I will drink it with no complaints... LOL

Coke Zero... still has that dry after taste like most sugar substitutes have... yuck. If it tasted just like it I would drink it...

RedeemedWarrior 11-03-2008 04:37 AM

Zero is a foul vile, upsettingly bad substitute for the real anything :P

Pepsi max is great, Cherry coke is great, Dr Pepper is great, Normal pepsi is like syrup :P

Digital Jedi 11-03-2008 08:26 AM

Just put them all in a IV so I can get up tomorrow. I don't care which. All of them. Just make sure to have my Espresso ready too.

nexialys 11-03-2008 11:28 AM

water, nothing beats it... as all the other drinks are made with water... 99% !!!

oh, btw, acid reflux are more comfy with water than pepsi.. lol

Brad 11-03-2008 12:11 PM

You're preaching to the choir ;)

[high]* Brad has had Acid Reflux since his youth as it runs in his family.[/high]

nexialys 11-03-2008 12:24 PM

hey, i want to make profit with my comments.. lol

All the way!

you're paying the extra sugar and some day the medical bills...
I've not problems perceiving the crude truth

Shelley_c 11-03-2008 02:15 PM

The crude truth could be this without beating about the bush. I'll stick to my mineral water and have a frazzled free mind. I think... Anyway, I've come to the assumption that dentists just love the coca cola/pepsi companies.

as bad as that picture is - it means nothing - because if people looked after their teeth then they could drink anything.

Adrian Schneider 11-03-2008 04:46 PM

Looking after your teeth could include not drinking dark pops... they are like acid to your teeth.

But this little thing called brushing keeps the acid from eating away at it.

Thanks for that picture. There's goes breakfast.

You'll be surprised even when brushing what long term effects consistent "fizzy drinking" will have on your teeth, especially on the tooth enamel. Once that wears down, your screwed. In reality, your only prolonging the inevitable.

Facts are facts, with consistent drinking you'll never need to worry about eating breakfast rather enjoying it via a straw.

I drink coka cola all time and even drunk plenty of pop when i was a kid and ive got perfect teeth (kk could do with whitewash but who cares :))

If you look after your teeth and brush them then you will not run into problems like this.
Its not down to the drink its down to the Indiviual who cant be bothered to look after themselfs.
No`s one teeth have gone rotten just because they drank Pop - they decay over time and that means bad cleaniness.
Its like saying the food companies are responsible for making people FAT - people need to learn to `eat to live` and not `live to eat.`

Same as above - i dont know how your facts stand up - i drink coke constantly and teeth are fine - no problems whatsoever and i go dentist twice a yr for regular checkups and never had any work done on my teeth and i can quite easy drink 6-8 cans of coke cola in a day

Its all down to the indiviual once again - if the person wont take care of themselfs then these problems arise.

Adrian Schneider 11-03-2008 06:33 PM

6-8 cans a day... sick. So you brush immediately after every can?

Facts are I've been drinking soda for decades, and I've only ever been to the dentist twice. My teeth are fine, other then some crookedness, but that was a result of the strong medicines I was on prior to my adult teeth coming in. Other then that, the I've only had a couple of cavities which didn't come to bear until I was in my late twenties. Really, the probability of acidic properties coming in contact with out teeth are not limited to sodas, and plenty of foods, even natural foods have natural acidic properties. Your teeth go bad because you fail to take care of them, predominately. Otherwise, you'd be in just as much trouble eating citrus foods and drinks, spicy foods or anything with citrus and phosphoric acid.

I'm not saying it's a health food, mind you, and that it can't be abused. What I'm saying is, you can run through the mud all day, but if every cut you get starts to get infected, you can't blame the mud if you never take baths.

Well is like the old arguments with Tobacco...
ppl says: I've been smoking my whole life and never got cancer, but the FACT is it lowers the quality of life... Ah! Uh.. Mmmh... Gotcha!

Except in this case the anti-soda crowd is trying to spread FUD.

I agree with you KW801, but there's a lot of myths out there, like the one: 'Forumers do a lot of money' JUAR-JUAR-JUAR!... sorry, I couldn't help it :o

anyone who have kids knows that is not healthy let them drink too much soda, but if you are kid you will find out thousands of reasons to drink soda ;)

KevinL 11-03-2008 09:24 PM

Anything that you do TO MUCH is not good for you...

It's like the argument that corn starch is bad for you, worse the sugar....it's CORN!
