I have a question: Can you remove the "group name characters cut" or tell me how to remove it? I'd like to see the full group name. Also, there is a problem with russian letters when they become cutted.

Woops! i installed on 3.7 as well and got database error ... reserved for final vb 3.8 release

Nice but seems impossible to move. Changing to below forums seems to have no effect.

Could you please correct the spelling errors? In the ACP image you will see "below spelt "bellow" and "category" spelt "ctegory". It drives me crazy to see that in software. :p

Here's a suggestion for improvement of this mod: it would be awesome if there would be on option to not (only) display latest social groups, but also social groups with the newsest discussions with topic title and latest poster.

Would you consider to add such a feature, Atakan?

Looking at the code there is alot of under developed code in there like the above and the icons, etc. Still looks good tho.

I edited the plugin and template a bit and got it to sort by last post, and instead of showing the category it shows a link to the last post. However the link name is stuck on the latest discussion, so if a post is in a older discussion it has the wrong name.

Going to see what I can come up with later on. I would love to have it also show an icon when there is an unread post, but I still need to learn how VB does that :)

It doesn't correctly show the latest post. I think what it actually shows is the first post in any thread.

Actually I think what it show is when the group was created.

Any idea on how to change the Last Post to be accurate?

thank you for your plugin. I have a little problem when vBseo is enabled. The last post is wrong - the link is rewriten like this:

the last post column doesn't seem to be showing the right post time on mine, it's displaying last post in 2008 though there were more recent posts this year. anyone else having this problem?

can there be an option to display this at the bottom of forumhome? also maybe an option to display the icons of the social groups instead of the name? that way it could be a smaller little cluster of icons.

can you add collapse/expand for Latest Social Group block?

Good point. I may try this over the weekend, but I'll be hard pressed to keep it if it's not collapsible. It would be good to have an option to set the default for either collapsed or expanded in the admin settings.

I wish it did this also rather than showing when the group was created.
