install

Go to your admin cp, then:
Plugin System -> Manage Products -> [Add/Import Product] -> Select 'product-atakanmarq1.xml' from your computer then press 'Import'


Marquee Text Setting

Go to your admin cp, then:
vBulletin Options -> Atakan Marquee Text Setting ->

1.0.0 Initial Version.
1.1.0 fix bug + Location Added + Cache Problem Fixed and vBulletin 3.7 relased.
2.0.0 vBulletin 3.8 relased.

Thank you, Atakan KOC, for this vB3.8.x update. It appears to also work in vB3.7.3 PL1.
The Marquee is a nice addition to my forum and I thank you once again for writing this mod.

I currently have this mod installed but would like the option to install it in ModCP instead of AdminCP so that my mods can edit the marquee text. Is this possible?

Please disregard my above request. I was able to find a programmer here to help me with the modification.

If anyone else is in need of custom code I would recommend this person as he was very prompt and the code worked perfectly. His name is Milad and you can PM him here.

There is a bug in version 1 and version 2.

As soon as the Marquee Text is enabled, the lightbox function of vb does not work anymore with the current Safari browser (version 3.21 for XP version and also with current apple version).

If you click on the image, the lightbox appears for 1/10th of a second and disappears immediately.

It seems to have this problem because of the movement of the Marquee Text

Tested with vb 3.73pl1 and vb 3.8

Anybody else had this problem and could solve it?

I have a 3.5 or 3.6 version from you installad which also works fine on 3.8.:)

But I will upgrade and then mark the old one as uninstalled and this one as installed.:D

Was the command line $marquee disabled in 3.8?

Because after the upgrade, the marquee does not show anymore in that page. :confused:

any ideas how to insert spaces between concurrent messages? I'm using alt+255 for invisible characters now.

space bar several times maybe?

I used alt+255 about 6 times and it adds invisible characters.

any plans on adding more color or custom color choices to this?

has anybody mentioned anything about this conflicting with the Live Topics mod under v3.8.1?

(cause it is for me...with it enabled Live Topics stops. disabled Live Topics works. totally repeatable too)

same here. It screws with Live Topic! Just found that out tonight.

its working for me in 3.8.1 with live topic. uninstall both and reinstall both but in the opposite order as originally installed
