Installation:♦ Upload the file "upload/youtube.php" in your vBulletin Forum root Directory so it will be www.example.com/forum/youtube.php.
♦ Upload the Plugin "product-youtubegooglevideo.xml" via Product Manager.


Important Upgrading instructions♦Please read this to make your hack work♦

I found the problem but the solution is also little weird.
UPgrading instructions: Uninstall the product.
Delete the "youtube" template manually from Styles and manager.

Now upload the new product attached in this post.
After doing this Go to Styles and Manager>>Your style>>and open "youtube" template.

Without doing anything,click on save button.
This will make your hack work. Since i am newbie coder,i really wanted to find out why is this happening.

All the errors have been corrected.

Just removed echo from "echo $download". Updated to version 2.1.

can you get it to download mp4 instead of the flv?

maybe change a codec this script maybe use a new tunnel and youtube download and work and my contury

Dumb question but where do you download the video on the forum?

For those getting error, all you have to do, go to Styles and edit find youtube, open and close youtube, than close, bang your problem is solved..

It's working fine for everyone now. I hope you have read the instructions carefully.

Update for this hack:
v3.0 To be released in which only selected usergroups will be able to use this.

Might want to clean up the HTML properly and make it actually work for a google video in the next release. ;)

which is the extension of file when you dowload it from youtube? .flv?

The file name is always: "get_video.flv" :)
People must rename it after download it.

I cant install..Please help me..!!! :(

Have you followed the after install step?
What is the error you are getting?

The best all around player IMHO is VLC Media Player.
