What is this ?

The Forum Announce will be display under navbar at forum home page and consecutive rolled .


How to install :

• Import product-home_announce.xml (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
• Try to give some Announce at AdminCP >Announcement Manager for your forum
• Back to forum home , check !

I did a test, and then deleted the message, but the block and just the title with an invalid link is still there

Where do i go to set the message? i imported it on 3.7.2 with the html modification but i dont see anything in my option area. I also checked admin cp>announcement manager. Dont see any option for it

you have to create an announcement thats it. it wont roll your current ones. you have to recreate them. He author is there anyway to speed it up , it scrolls to slow

One quick question, how would i change color and bold it up and also make the font size bigger? would this be done in the xml?.. if so .. where abouts?

Now ,problem was fixed ! and update to new ver.

I have removed the old one and installed the new one, but the title that was there before is still scrolling across with a dead link...

basically because i deleted it last time, i can not delete it using your new changes

would you know the database table where the title would reside ?

I am sure no need to touch any database

Go to Admincp ------> Announcements ------>Announcement Manager

edit the old Announce or add new one do everything as u wanted !

The demo doesn't open and the screenie is in chinese. What is this mod supposed to do?

the old announcement was deleted.. the title remained in your plug...

I have worked this out, for anyone else that is having the problem of not being able to remove the title of the first test announcement from the first script...

you need to go into your database tables into the datastore table and click browse

look down the list and you will see announcecache then click on edit then you can delete the contents and click go..

Perhaps silly questions...but as this uses global announcemnts as its base - does it leave the announcements in the individual forums? and also is there a way to adjust the scroll speed?

I unistaled this because the info of last post in forum home give me the wrong time? (diference is 6 hours)

to be honest it is a matter of trial and error...about 5 seconds is a good start though.

i had a trouble with this hack, when i deleted an announce directly into the thread i saw that i still have the scrolling bar activated with the title of the announce ...

Be sure u use the newest ver. 1.2 !

Yes, for me I dont know for oher forums, just I know I disabled almost all add one one by one

I have an issue that worries me about the safety and security of this mod. After i installed it. I noticed some weird things in the VB Options menu where you can enable it, or disable it.

Take a look at the image bellow. You will see what i mean. Looks very suspicious to me.

See where it says: (HACKED: Joey) and the the strange corrupt characters on the descriptions bellow?

I am now expert on this, but if someone could please look into this that knows about this stuff it would really help us all out. I hope the staff here can look into this and determine what is going on before more boards get hacked.
