Have you checked your mail logs, have you checked the "Spam" folder?

djxcee 10-02-2008 08:03 AM

Are you running php in safe mode?

Server mail logs. If mail is rejected, the rejecting server will send back a response.

fusionpot 10-04-2008 02:53 PM

no responses back yet, ive been haveing them check spam and all that good stuff for the diff mail clients. idk maybe one of you guys could sign up and let me know if you get the email?

vBsquad 10-05-2008 01:11 PM

You need to start by checking /var/log/mail_log. You should tail that while doing a few tests so you can see what is happening.

Goliath27 10-07-2008 02:15 AM

Its the Server. from what he told me the Server Admin email should be the same as the vB email.

also its something to do with the Gen Forum settings, changing the Forums location will fix that. Sorry for the later response.

Try that.

could not tell you. would you try to sign up on my forums and see if u get an email? and if so tell me what email u use "yahoo,aol,msn,......"

Marco van Herwaarden 10-18-2008 08:25 AM

Isn't too hard to register an account on those free email services yourself and test it. ;)

fusionpot 10-18-2008 10:25 PM

see when i do it, it works fine for me so i NEVER have issues getting emails so i would like some JOE BLOW to make and account and test it out
