Like everyone else when starting forums, you have to many.

Reduce your sections until they are needed

Ok, thanks.
I cut them down quite a bit. Take a look and see if that is better, if you don't mind.

I would say no, there's still a ton, also I would get rid of that fake IE warning bar junk. Those things make me leave sites all the time.

Ok, I took off the InfoBar. I got rid of the "Forum Related" and "Recipes" The sports is one of the main points of the site, I realize there are a ton of sub forums under football, but that is one of the main focuses.

tbh, tray if i was you have as many forums as possible got mad. I did and my forum has become a success on how i wanted it. Noone joins forums with ++++ing 2 forums so everyone stop replying with "cut down the forums" a forum needs loads off forums for the forum to be intersting and worth registering for. So add more! I reccomend things like computer discussion graphics applications and more.. you desire.

Reduce forums or make more of them sub forums :)

otherwise its a pretty nice looking site

Matt665 10-04-2008 10:02 AM

Horrible skin the page looks horrible on Mozilla and also the domain sounds like its a kid forum please choose a more suitable domain.

treyb 10-05-2008 10:43 PM

Loget, I don't understand why it looks bad on mozilla, maybe you could upload a screen shot. The name is fine, there is no since in changing a domain name this far into the process either. I personally think that hiddenworm.com is a kids domain.

I must not understand, and where did you get

Dixie refers to the confederate states / southern states here is a quote from Wikipedia,
Quote:

As a definite geographic location within the United States, "Dixie" is usually defined as the 11 Southern states that seceded to form the Confederate States of America. They are (in order of secession): South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Tennessee. This definition is strongly correlated with history and, in the minds of many Southerners, remains the traditional and emotional South.
and that pretty much explains why it is a "Southern discussion forum" and why do you say it is "Silly" ?? It is referring to a region of the USA.

Here is a link if you need any more information, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dixie
