Good one. I myself often wondered if the moderators of a forum have noticed a questionable post. Usually I read it much later, so I do not reply or report the post, since I think it has already been done by other users. This solves the problem. Thank you!

I just noticed that the mod/thread title is misleading. One could think that you mean reported private messages, whereas you mean posts.

But including private messages and visitor messages would be nice. "Private" messages might sound stupid, but since you can mass pm users, it would be handy to fight spam. You might need to change the criteria for pms (display message "a similar pm has been reported" if a pm of the same user has been reported within the last 24 hours).

^ I wasn't aware you could report a PM yet? This function has only just been implemented in the alpha version we are not even able to download as of yet. :)

I am using vBulletin 3.7.3 PL1 and works fine for me. TRy to re install.

Only import the product. Are you using PL1??

I imported it, and it is on the list of my Installed products.
But nothing happens.

Only works if you have activated the option to post report in a forum. It will be fixed in next release.

ok that's the reason.. I don't have and I don't want that option activated.
Please try to fix this problem too :)

installed and working in 3.7.3 PL1 - might I suggest a time limit on this so if, say someone reports the same post again after 6 hours (example) it allows the second report.

Unfortunately I have had to uninstall this thread...not because it didn't work but because it wasn't suitable for my forum's needs.

(On my forum reported posts are often edited and returned to the list, but this mod stops anyone reporting them again if need be...hence my question above about time limiting))

Any update on this? I'd like to use this hack, but I have no need of the post reporting thread creation.

It would be great if after showing the message, it takes you back to the post ... :p
