He meant it's better to have it shown at random than to be rotated.
Being rotated entails there being a preset order that it follows.

I dont have to use this in the header do i.

Could i put it near the footer?

I needed to ask because there are more complicated ways to call banners and ads onto your pages that people are using. Those more complicated ways create compatibility issues in the different versions of vBulletin. My mod uses very simple code that will be compatible no matter what version of vBulletin is released. It just works. :D

To be real clear which I have already... My mod here DOES change your header/banner in a random order. So Sandgrinder's post makes ZERO sense in relationship to my mod since it does in fact rotate or change your header banner in a random order.

You could but I designed this to randomly rotate the header image. Please let me know what you come up with and how you make out. I may add to the instructions for this.

I have two banners and every 3rd rotation the banner goes away.

thank you for the nice work. I installed it and it seems working fine but I have one request... I'm currently running vbulletin with phpportals and I'd like to rotate the banners randomly on the portal main page instead of the forums header, is there a way i can make it work?

My ads rotate when members click on a thread or any link. How can I change it automatically lets say, every x seconds? Also, how can I put this only in certain forums?

I highly suggest NOT using this mod actually. I took over the development of this from another person because I myself needed a way to rotate my banners in my header. Shortly after posting this mod I discovered the mod by CYB.

I suggest you uninstall mine and go with his here: Cyb - Flash-Image Banner Rotator

I am using this mod because I am also using cyb banners for an actual rotating banner, and your mod for the rotating logo, so I have two rotating items :) Thanks for posting this.
