Easy Pages
Ever wanted to a quick and effective way to add pages? This is your answer :) Easily add pages to your website, and manage your pages quick and easily. Your existing pages are stored in admincp for easy access, and provided with a link directly to the page.

Keeping this basic for now as a light, but if enough feature requests come along I'll see if i decide to go somewhere else with this o_0

Thanks, this is really something useful to me. :-)

Digital Jedi 09-23-2008 03:41 AM

Hrm, not a bad idea. Are all the page URLs named easy_pages or is that just in the demo?

 That's the name of the file itself, which grabs the pages

Hi, Just what I've been looking for. Just a note: In your download file the admin folder needs renaming to admincp.
Thanks once again
Andy:)

shlomot 09-23-2008 03:53 AM

WOW. I've been waiting for such a simple yet manageable wrapper for static pages that need embedding onto the site. Will install later and comment here.

john102774 09-23-2008 05:16 AM

I've uploaded the files and imported the file that's needed. However I can't seem to locate it in the Admin CP. Any ideas on why I can't seem to find it? Thanks!

I am using vb3.7.3

RobbieZ 09-23-2008 05:24 AM

Will it grab the styles colors if using different skins ?

Hm, an "easy pages" section isn't applied to your admincp? Sure you uploaded the file in the includes folder?

The only thing different is that instead of having an admincp, I renamed it to primarycp when I first install vbulletin. Other than that, everything is uploaded. :)

john102774 09-23-2008 05:36 AM

Ok, for some reason when I dragged the dir to the FTP that XML file did not get transferred. I had to upload that file to the server. Now it's working perfectly. Thank Gio!!!

mark370 09-23-2008 09:38 AM

v12kid 09-23-2008 01:00 PM

GIO- thanks for this product, before I install, will it work with php in the html?

soundbarrierpro 09-23-2008 01:01 PM

Can the pages be given permissions? Like, if I don't want unregistered users seeing whats on them?

slcsr 09-23-2008 04:02 PM

im having the same problem, cant see it in the admincp

soundbarrierpro 09-23-2008 04:09 PM

are these permission based pages? Or are they openly available to anybody who visits? I need to find out if I can add perms so unregistered's can't see them.

Veer 09-23-2008 04:20 PM

Nice mod.

Is there any option to rename "easy_pages.php" to something?

thanks.

JackFranklin 09-23-2008 05:31 PM

Thanks for a nice mod!

@Pehchaan - if you have VBSeo you can add custom rewrites, that's the easiest way.

Do you have those custom re-writes for everybody? And do you use permissions on your pages?

Hornstar 09-23-2008 10:05 PM

This has so much potential, I'll think of some features that would make this truly great, but it is already a great start. thanks for sharing.

TilkiBey 09-24-2008 07:14 PM

Yep, as easy as that ;) No problem with changing file names, just be sure not to remove the copyright at the bottom.

Permissions aren't possibly at the moment, the pages are available to the public. However, they are only truly accessible if you link them, since no one can predict your pages :p

The DaveyG 09-25-2008 12:05 AM

I like this a lot, but can someone put clear directions on how to change the URL from easy_pages? What file, which lines, etc. Thanks.

Audentio 09-25-2008 12:14 AM

I think it should have a different page url like misc.php?do=page_name

Only problem though is if there are links, (which I need to create for channel listings) everybody will be able to access them. I need to be able to stop unregistereds from viewing.
