Description: Get direct links from FileHostings
This mod provides an opportunity to get direct links through resource SaveFrom.net. Near link, supported FileHostings, will be added button-request for a direct link.

If, for some reason, direct links are not shown (in connection with a different styles), do the following:
1) In settings choose "Hand setting"
2) In template header in the top add $sfn1 and in template footer in the bottom add $sfn2.
3) In template SHOWTHREAD_SHOWPOST in the top add $sfn1 in the bottom add $sfn2.

I see you have youtube too. How does this work? Won't it interfere with passivevid? I'm very interested, I just want to be sure. If it doesn't interfere, does it automatically produce a download file option? If so what format does it save flv or mp4?

If in text exist link on youtube, near add button-request on direct link to mp4, flv file hi quality.

Do you have a test forum? Do you also have passivevid installed? I want to try a youtube link.

Yes, i have (mixplay.ru) but with passivevid my mod not worked, because passivevid change links on <object ... ></object>.

Im still a little confused. What exactly does this do?

does it allow you to link to a youtube video and download the video instead of playing it? or something else?

Just give you direct links for downloading.

On forum will be look like this

After click on button you redirect on savefrom.net and see direct link on this video, like this

That for each supported filehostings:)

I try. I'll turn off passivevid in one forum to see what happens.

Sweet! It does work with Passivevid installed.........BUT! Like you said, it can't be used in a same forum as passivevid. If you use this mod in it's own forum **NOT** identified in passivevid settings, it works perfectly :) I'm using it with youtube links right now for my members.

so basically it will not show a youtube link, like what i have in my forum, as you can direct play by clicking on the play button, but instead it replace with a link to savefrom.net ?

Other question : will it automatically replace all the link already posted in other threads ?

If passivevid is installed and those threads are in a forum with id's added to passivevid. This mod will "NOT" override passivevid settings. Your video will stay in tact.

Confirmed.....youtube, mediafire, sendspace are working.

Rapidshare is not.

Rapidshare not supported (yet).

Break not working for me...

You need to get a software called SnagIt so u can take better photos, in fact most people should, your caps are so hard to see ..
