Project Description

Inferno Battle Polls is an extension to vBulletin that allows you to create extensive polls with an array of customisation and options to meet your needs.

• AJAX Voting
• 3 Poll States (Preview, Opened, Finished)
• Easy Flexible Deployment - You can have IBP show up anywhere on your forum
• Infinite Polls - Create as many polls as you wish
• RPG Style Health Meters - Poll options status are displayed with RPG style health bars
• Images - You can upload images for each option in a poll, and also a main image for the poll itself
• Voting Allowance - With flexible voting allowance, you can allow users to vote X times in Y hours if you wish
• Lead Statements - Have unique statements show in your poll when an option is in the lead by X votes
• Winning Statements - Have unique statements appear for the option that wins the poll when it has finished
• Timed Polls - The ability to set exactly when a poll starts and ends
• Integration - Easily choose which usergroups can view or vote on a poll.
• Poll Function: Standard - The standard poll function is a traditional poll type, where when the poll ends the option with the most votes wins.
• Poll Function: Battle - All options start at 50% health and the first option to reach 100% health wins and ends the poll, additionally users can cast negative votes too.
• Reset Polls - Want to do the poll again? Hit the reset button and it starts over like new

What are the size limit for the images that can be uploaded? I can not get any pictures to work with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can users create there own Polls? I want a Rap Battle system.. Is it possible to modify it for it.. Stats in each post of WIn & Loses?

What's the difference between the free and Pro versions?

Also, if I add this as a template page to VBA CMPS will it show up ok or does it need to stay in the /forums/ directory?

Edits: It doesn't quite work outside of the forums directory as there are a few paths that are incorrect but it shouldn't be too hard to edit those paths...

After more playing it turns out you can add the code into the notices and then use the notice options to control which forum, etc they show in.

One question though, in the images above it shows the 4 options side by side but with testing it all I see is one below the other. Did you do anything special to get them arranged like that? It looks like your demo forum uses a different template for the infernopoll_poll_option template.

I haven't been able to access your site for a few days of tying..

Both of his sites are down for more then a week. He may... have just quit all together. Bad sign when two different domains are down and no response else where.

I really hope that is not the case. :confused:

I emailed the creator so hopefully he responds soon and lets us know what is going on. I am relaunching my site soon and would love to have this mod for it.

zero is like 15? now right? he's always kinda gone off the map here there.. I'm sure he'll be back. always LOVE his stuff :)

Unless Zero decides to Man Up and say he is done with all his products don't hold out hope. Move on... :down:

Completely unacceptable behavior, specially since they have allot of paid subscribers for their mods.

Well they had a really expensive server hosting their site, they thought that with the money they earned from selling mods and such that it would cover the price. Apparently, people stopped buying and the server was lost. I don't really think they quit altogether, just ran out of money to pay for the dedicated server. Problem maybe though that they didn;t back up the server, and have no way of restoring it to what it was, if thats so, everybody who bought scripts from them lost out. You won;t even be able to use RPG Inferno pro version, since the script regularly checks infernotech fon whether the license is valid or not. BUT if a bussiness closes down like their's apparently have, they should atleast give out what they have for free here.
