NosPM! - Anti-Spam Questions for PM System
 

NOW ADDED ORIGINAL vBulletin HUMAN VERIFICATION FEATURE

NosPM! allows you to specify a set of questions which members are required to answer correctly at new private message, eliminating the ability of spam bots to send private messages at your forum members.

VERSION HISTORY:
1.0: Initial release. (3.6.x and 3.7.x)
2.0: Added original vBulletin human verification feature (just for v3.7.x) !

UPGRADE:
Delete v1.0 and Import v2.0 through the Admin CP product manager.

FRESH INSTALLATION:
1. Import product through the Admin CP product manager.

3.6.x Settings:

Go to your vBulletin options in the Admin CP and select NosPM! Settings. Once there, turn the system on and input your questions and answers according to the instructions there.

3.7.x Settings:
On/off setting: vBulletin Options -> Human Verification Options -> Verify at Private Messages

Are u wanna change Human Verification System ? Then go to "admincp/verify.php"

UNINSTALLATION:
Just uninstall the product through the Admin CP.

Perhaps not all install after downloading, they might be saing it for the weekend to install, or testing it prior to clicking install?

I just used John's password change for users that have bad passwords. Hopefully that will eliminate the chances of it happening to much, and hopefully I have enough protection upon sign up, but if not, I will give this a go. Thanks for sharing.

Does this allow you to enable this on a per-usergroup basis or does everybody have to use it?

Everybody have to use it, Because v2.00 working with human verification.

captcha image for attachement download for unregistered users when they are allowed to download but i need to captcha to prevent hot linking

Well this is totally unusable for me if it requires the user to enter the Human Verification info every time they send a PM.

Uninstalled. If the user types the PM and forgets to enter the code, the whole PM is deleted. I would rather deal with spammer hunting than upset users.

Working OK in 3.7.0, in 3.7.4 PL1 and 3.7.2. Using recaptcha is all OK.
I think is a good work ;)

Is there any chance of upgrading this with two things:

1) Support for quick reply on pms.
2) Change on a usergroup basis this requirement.

Otherwise great work - really helped to stop spam.
