HTML Emails
 

Information:
This modification is actually just a Plugin version of the Other modification, released by tokenyank, Send HTML email via adminCP. So why release? Because in this version you don't have to use any file edit. Plugin system does the job for you. Although the Mod was finished weeks before, but I was waiting for the Original author to give me the permission. I have that now and here is the Mod.

Feature:
Just one, Sends the vB mail as HTML rather than the default Plain text fromat.

Install instruction:
==> Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
==> Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Email Options and On or Off the hack.

Current Version:

Caution: This enables ALL the mails sent through vB, HTML. But default vB mail template is in Plain text, like when someone signs up, you get a mail; that is in plain text. Enabling this will mean that mail will look messy. :D So I better suggest you either enable this Hack only to send Mail to your Users and then turn off. Or edit the Problemed Phrases that were sent messy. I might help if you edit phrases to have the Templates in HTML, but no guarantee on that. ;)

thank you very much installed on 3.8.2 and works i sent html message from control panel and works well.

I have installed but I am not able to send HTML emails. Have activated 'yes' from email options too. What am I doing wrong. Need to do this on priority. Any help appreciated

Are you actually writing your email using standard html tags? That is the way you have to create your email.

I write my html coded email in notepad and test it first. Then I take the finished coded message and send in my email.
