Crimson Floral - elegant darker style for the ladies
 

A beautiful feminine theme in shades of crimson and red, this style features -

Installation Instructions -

1. Click on the "Install" button on the right of this post, then download the zip file to your computer and extract it (I put it on my desktop, it's easier to remember where I put it!).
2. Open your ftp client to your server. Go to your forum's images folder, open it, and create a styles folder.
3. Next, upload the crimson folder via FTP to the styles folder, so that your image path is images/styles/crimson/buttons, for example.
4. After you've uploaded the folder, open your admin control panel on your forum, and import the xml file, by going to Styles & Templates > Download / Upload styles > Import Style XML File.
5. Click on the Browse button, locate the xml file for crimson, and double-click it so that it loads in that box, then hit the Import button.

Inside the zip file, you'll find a blank header image and button, in png format, for easy editing. No PSD's are available.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

That means you have been denied access, IP banned is the most probable cause.

I just moved to a new host. My old host didn't have hot link protection, and I found that alot of sites were hotlinking my styles, so I had to IP ban. I forgot to remove them after I moved to the new host.

You should be able to view my site now.

Installed, then uninstalled. The mod section had no background, lol. I have your tulip, love it, works just fine, but this one doesn't work without a "mod forum" background.

Now that is odd. I've never had or seen that issue, lol

that stinks, Such a cute style I wish I could use it I have 3.7.3 and it's for 3.7.2 and wont let me upload the xml! I'm so sad!!!

of course it will. when you go to import the xml, where it says Ignore style version, click yes, and Import.

Uhm I can not figure out what is going wrong with the logo?? Am I suppose to rename the blank file to logo_example to get it to show? I deleted the example file and then I got this huge blank box then I renamed the blank logo to logo_example and the sizing does not match?

I also wanted to let you know the members of my forum are raving about how much they LOVE this style! Thanks so much again it's wesome!

how do you change the styles Background?

no. Using the blank logo provided, put your site name on it, and save it as logo.png. Next open the header template, and find where it says logo_example.png, and change it to logo.png.

If the size of your logo is different from the size of the sample logo, you'll need to change the size right there in the header template, as well.

Put the name of your site on the blank header image, provided. Upload it to the images/styles/crimson/misc folder. Then go to your header template, and change the name (and size, if applicable) and save.

thanx ohiosweet.......please bear with me for a little more. where can i find this template header you are talking baout and please tell me how can i measure the size of the logo?

The blank image you are looking for is in the folder called "Blanks". Whichever image software that you use to put the name on it, will tell you the size. Then you upload it to the images/crimson/misc folder using ftp.

Then you need to open your admin cp, go to styles and templates, style manager. Look in the list of templates for crimson, find the template called header, and change the name and/or the width, ONLY if different from what is already there.
