but the problem is that it will appear only on "forumhome"
to display on a sidebar, edit the templete "Forumhome_thread_last_bit" and copy variables on your "templete a sidebar"

for exemple :

for the user :
HTML Code:

<a href="$vboptions[bburl]/member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$userid" class="smallfont">$row[musername]</a>
for the thread :
HTML Code:

<a href="$vboptions[bburl]/showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]t=$threadid" title="$pagetext"><b>$threadtitle</b></a>

no its not

Mysticales 08-04-2008 07:10 AM

I like it, however it seems that even at 10, it can cause the index front to load slower. =/

luffy 08-04-2008 01:34 PM

what ?

Leo Brazil 08-04-2008 02:51 PM

Great Mod Luffy. Just clicked installed.

Just an idea I had and that's something I'd to have.

Is there a way to have exactly the same but for Social Groups ? I mean, like recent social groups, last post at social groups, etc, same lay out.... That'd be awsome.

Tks

Hi -

Is there anyway to remove the 'Forum' box? I tried setting it at 0% and 1% and it did not do anything. :)

amaarvell 08-16-2008 03:22 PM

i wonder if someone can help me
i have installed this product but it has shifted my site around pretty badly

the site had a side column with the forum next to it but now the product has replaced the forum in the centre and moved the forum down to the bottom away from the side column
see www.mytwopennysworth.com

cheers

amaarvell 08-19-2008 01:43 PM

is this thread still live as i really need help with this

mooreaa 08-25-2008 06:26 AM

Is there a way to modify this to replace the "Last Post" on any forum to just simply the latest thread... and link to the top of it rather then jump to the latest post?

Blackhat 09-04-2008 08:33 PM

Can someone explain me how I get this on the sidebar instead ? Im not sure if I understand the previous explanation.

Thanks

David Gillaspey 01-17-2009 11:09 PM

I've installed this mod and it works great. Thanks.

My forum is pretty small. So on one hand, this modification is not likely to cause a heavy load on my server. (This has been a complaint previously in this thread.)

On the other hand, when someone runs a small forum, as I do, they need every tool they can get their hands on to help the forum to grow by encouraging people to join and post.

A feature like this can help achieve that goal.
