PSN ID in profile and postbit
 
Playstation Network ID in Profile and Postbit by Eonwe


Description

This mod will add your psn id to your profile page and in your postbit. When clicked a popup will show your PSN avatar, name and your 'about you' section.

Features

-You add your PSN in the same section where you add your other IM's.
-Shown in postbit next to the other IM's.
-Shown in the member list next to the other IM's.
-Shown in members profile page with the other IM's.

Installation

Will take less then 5 minutes.
Download the zip file and follow the instructions in there.

Instructions

Upload the PSN image icon to forum directory > images > misc.

Go onto admincp > Styles and Templates > Search in Templates

Then type modifyprofile into the search box and click search titles only. Then click find.

Once there do control + f to bring up the find box, and type the bellow in the box.

Once youve found this highlight this section and replace it with the following code.

Then go back to the Search in Templates (Go onto admincp > Styles and Templates > Search in Templates) and type in postbit or postbit_legacy (postbit is horrizontal leagacy is verticle).

Then go back to the Search in Templates (Go onto admincp > Styles and Templates > Search in Templates) and type in memberinfo.

i have been looking for this.but i cant find the profile template your described, would you be able to simplify the instructions? and will it work with 3.7

Go on admincp > Styles and Templates > Search in Templates.

Then put Modifyprofile ect in the search box.

Search for the bits that i wrote in the instructions text and add the extra sections in after.

I honestly don't know if it will work for 3.7 as i don't use it and 3.7 has a new profile page.

damm, im running into to many issues on 3.7.. i really wish someone would make something up for 3.7.

I tried it on a 3.7 and found that it will work on postbit but wont work on peoples profile page. I will code that into it tomorrow and release it in the 3.7 mod section.

you are the man, i will try it on the post bit when i get home...also would you be able to make your instructions a little simpler.. it was hard to follow it with all the spaces between them..i am a new at all of this and im sure other newbs like me will have the same difficulty..lol, thanks man.

*edit* i tried it and i cant get it to work even in the postbit legacy. help please

You can find xbox and wii modifications else where in vbulletin. Just do a search.

I don't use 3.7 so i don't know how the new memberinfo templates work.
If someone that does use it and knows how to get it on the memberinfo post the code here and ill add it in.

Great mod! Is it possible to however display the PSN image on postbit legacy instead of showing the icon? Meaning showing the actual card on the side under posts or something ?
