Change default post text size/font
Hello
With this plug-in you can Change default post text size/font in all styles that you have. Install: In Admin CP
Notice: This plug-in working with: 3.5.x, 3.6.x, and 3.7.x. Best Regards alkahf |
Mmmm, followed the instructions but it doesn't appear to have changed anything. The font and font color remain as they were before

I have just tried it using the vBulletin default skin - and it works. I can only assume then that it is the modified skin that I have, which is preventing the mod from working |

postbit <!-- message --> <div id="post_message_$post[postid]">$post[message]</div> <!-- / message --> postbit_legacy <!-- message --> <div id="post_message_$post[postid]">$post[message]</div> <!-- / message --> I think I know what I am overlooking, d'oh!! Does the change of font, size and color take place after the message is actually posted and not before the creation of the message? |
As I see you have everything OK! And this plug-in should work in all your styles.
This plug-in changes this code to: <div id="post_message_$post[postid]"><font size='4' face='Comic Sans MS' color='#FF0000'>$post[message]</font></div> |
I'll upgrade it to product with many options in:
vBulletin options > Thread Display Options (showthread) And I'll add mod to change default signatures text size/font.
Wait your mind :) Thank you |
As is, didn't work for me either. Will mark installed, deactivate, and wait for new version notification, Meanwhile, thanks, it's a good idea.
But I do have a question - how does this affect formatting chosen by the user? I would not want it to override any changes they choose to make to the default appearance. I assume this just changes the initial default text in the compose box, when it works? |
Thanks I was in need of this, worked like a charm.
|
Work's like a charm :)
|
Thanks, the tiny text was hurting my eyes! :D An excellent little bit of coding, well done.
|
Is it possible to change the font by usergroup plz ?
|
Thanks, clear instructions and clear results. Worked like a charm.
Would be nice to have a plugin to change Post Title and also to get rid of the line below the title. Thanks again. |

Works great. Thank you so much.
Is there a way to add into the plugin a different color for links in messages, just making any link different universal color? |
I tried to use with vbulletin 3.8.3 but don't work....
somebody knows other form of change the default text size/font? Thanks =) |
Question: Can't this be done using actual VB template editing options?
|
Answer: found it. Its the alternative font. :)
|
Testing...

Hi there,
Does anyone know if this effects new posts after installing. Example, if someone posts after the install, does the new post get affected by this mod? Do I have to go back to plug-in manager every day to change the fonts that people post? |
