Ok, nice site. But when i first when onto your site it took forever to load the main bit. If i was you i would remove the main page and just keep it as a forum. Your forum is nice but not the best of skins, You have quite to many forums for 12 members maybe you should consider deleteing a few. But i'm no hypocrip i did the exactly same thing. Also you should really explain what your forum is about on the Welcome Bit like i have on my forum so people will get to know the site and then will consider joining. But over all good site.

It is really very simple: You are allowed to request your site to be reviewed. If you are however asking people to register on your board, then it is promoting.

Okay, to start, as people have said, cut out the splash page. It takes forever to load, and for those without Javascript or using NoScript, they can't even enter through the front page.

Secondly, while the style is nice, I don't understand why this text is floating to the right somewhere:

Might want to fix that. Another thing I can't understand is what the heck this board is even about. Styles would suggest forum styles and stuff, but there's sections about gaming, fighting, world affairs, entertainment and rap battles, which would suggest an off topic type forum. If that is the case, you might want to get an easier to understand forum name.

There is then also a huge amount of forums, most of them empty. Your site is too young to have hundreds of forums everywhere, so you should either merge them together like:

[Keep same, I can't think of how to merge it)

Remove stats to another page, it's too much to have on the front page, and the forum is too new to make the stats of any great interest beyond the who's online box and forum general stats.

Keep the rest, the rest of the style looks good as it is, and is fitting for an off topic/general type forum.

Might want some custom smilies.

You should remove the duplicate Todays Posts link, it's only needed once.

The rest seems fine. You've installed a good set of add ons for your forum, which should be interesting and useful to your members, the forum style is nice and fits the topic and your forum looks like it could be a great place once a few minor changes are made!

The problem is that it's not really the mods that are the problem, just a small error in the style and the splash page accessed before the forums. Most of your forum is fine (if there was less forums or they were filled with posts), and the problem of the layout being a bit off might either be a problem with installing the forum style or a compatibility issue with a version of vBulletin...

well in that case could you help me fix these things?

the front page is nice, loads fine for me as i have a fast connection, but im confused on what the hole site is about. when i seen the name "Rahstyles" i thought vbulletin styles or something, then i seen the front page and thought it was girls style clothing :D then entered the forums and thought it looked just like a normal everyday chat forum...

as the same as your forum, you mite want to fix those up to get anywhere on google.

I'm on a 20 meg connection and when I waited for roughly 2 minutes for the front page to load I was expecting something dazzling, somewhat breathtaking. Greeted by a clevage and some mediocre flash effects the page is absolutely redundant. There are other alternatives to creating a frontpage without the abnormally long loading times.

Do away with the frontpage splash area and your half way there in keeping your guests remotely interest in going further (example: clicking to view your forums).

Firstly, The scrolling registration box is extremely annoying and I had to walk away at that point and looked back to check if a black box was following me into the kitching pressuring me to register. Again, and I'm sure it's being suggested in this thread.. do away with the scrolling script, it will drive your guests nuts at this point (after the backlash of the splash screen) you'll be very lucky if any guests will stick around let alone be enticed to register (which is your goal).

The style isn't that great though it isn't visually bad either though trying to review and give feedback on the logo (guess what) that annoying registration box is blocking my view.

Like others have stated, There's too many forums for such a new site. If your guests have not left by this point, they are sure to have left feeling daunted, exhausted and possibly tempted in firewalling your site so they don't return and go through the ordeal again. Keep the forums relevant to the site and what your site is all about. Reading the thread title I was expecting some kind of styling/graphic site but I don't see any areas that remotely resemble styles/graphics etc.

Overall the style isn't that bad but the whole ordeal in reviewing your site was. Think how guests must feel and take on board what people have said so that you gain those guests to members which will give you a lot more satisfaction and achievment in building up a community.

Great looking style... a job well done! The only thing that I would take off would be that black box at the top when a guest enters your site. I hides the real nice looking header you have in place.

on a scale of 1-10 and 10 being best. I give you negative 2 gazillion on that.

cool site hmm bit confusing however , pretty girl on portal, but...nothing to do with your site, a little custom work wouldnt hurt ;).

I would start by getting rid of the whole splash page / home and having it go straight to your forum. All of the content like the gallery can easily be integrated into your forum. In addition the flash splash page is terrible for seo. All of the banners half way down need to be resized with photoshop instead of resized via the code. I would also place them either at the very bottom or top depending on the importance, where the are now breaks the forum in half.

Overall the theme is a little bland and could use a few more colors or just more of the orange you started using. Also the width of the forum is around 770px, forums/sites today are optimized for 1024x768 and generally have a width of around 950px wide.

Loading way too slow to continue browsing
