Name: Advanced Quick Edit

Description: This product extends 'Quick Edit' functionality to allow most "Advanced Editor mode" options [ All Built-In BBCodes ] (with full control from AdminCP).

How it works:

• Simple:
  • Adds functionality of the full editor to the quick edit [ All Built-In BBCodes ].
• Detailed:
  • This product is totally different than other similar products, it doesn't depend on any other codes and doesn't fake vBulletin telling it that this editor is advanced edit or something like this. It leaves every thing as default but extends 'quick edit' functionality by having it's own independent code.
  • It adds all allowed buil-in bbcodes buttons to the 'quick edit' editor (with full control).

1. Supported languages of this product are available as a translated products not as language files, the product's folder contains sub folders for languages, each one has the full package in that particular language (ie: -[English]).
2. This product is supposed to work with vBulletin 3.5.x & 3.6.x series, but we don't support versions prior 3.7.x series, Just 3.7.x Stable series!
3. This product still doesn't support the following advanced features (Attachment, SmilieBox, SmilieMenu], there is some difficulties implementing these features as independent features, may be included in a next version.

I'm very very confused of what this does. I've installed this plugin, and all my quick edits looks exactly the same as they look without this plugin. I read the plugin description, but I am still confused.

Make sure that:

• You don't have any other products that affect "Quick Edit".
• Your hooks system is activated.
• your default bbcodes are already globally activated for the forum.
• You have set "Advanced Quick Reply" settings alright.

Check out the following setting:
vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> Message Posting Interface Options -> Enable Clickable Message Formatting Controls -> Quick Edit (Enable Standard & WYSIWYG Controls)

Then, it's a problem related to your forum not to our product :), installing this product just extend the "Quick Edit" features'. Un-Installing it will delete every thing related to this product & doesn't leave any traces, so if there is any problem it should be related to your forum itself.



There is a problem with your forum's files, checkout for the file admincp/plugin.php. Also check for validity of any .htacess on your site's/forum's root (if any).

Regarding the smilie box in the "Quick Edit", it will be implemented in a future release since it's currently has some problematic difficulties.



It's supposed to work with 3.6 series but we don't support any series other than the latest stable supported. If you don't care you can delete the dependency lines as follow:
Open the product's XML file & search for the following code & DELETE it:

Then this error isn't related to our product "Advanced Quick Edit" :). It should be another error that is already exists within your forums before installing this product, since uninstalling the product should delete any thing related to it & doesn't affect any other environments.

Alert: For vBulletin 3.75, this creates a problem with "edit post" in Firefox only (i.e., works fine in IE7 and Opera) with an older version of vBSEO installed.

This may be related to the known vBSEO AJAX issue with vbulletin versions 3.75 and 3.8x. However, disabling this add-on seemed to fix the error.

Is there a Newer version of this? Please let me know.
