Install Game Prob
 

This started a couple of days ago. The arcade will no longer install games. We haven't added in any new hacks, or edited anything with the arcade.

We click install for a particular game and it just goes to a blank page.

Any idea on what could cause this?

Someone somewhere should know the answer to this,has anyone else had any probs with adding games in adminCP..

Yes, identical problem.

We think it maybe a server/host issue..contact your server as a few questions about it.. Damm thing can't understand why it was working then suddenly stopped adding games.. if you find out please let me know..

Nothing at all,had to add games manually which takes ages,hopefully Mr Zero can fix when he gets on..

I checked your Site, GeeZeeR, everything looks good and I can't find the problem itself.

I just noticed you have more than 4500 (!!) files in your /arcade folder, maybe you can try to move some games temporarily into another folder and check if maybe this huge amount of files is a problem ?

TAR is supported by your server/host ?

Thanks for looking,strange thing it was working perfect,then suddenly stop working.. i guess my server/host does support tar as this hasn;t happened before..

Ok, give this a try, replace the tar.php (arcade/functions/tar.php) file with the attached one, make sure you back up what you have in case it no worky worky.
