Private Coders Forum?

Hi there,

I've heard that once users release modifications, they gain access to a private coders forum. I've released several add-ons (both code modifications and template enhancements) over the years, but never really gained access to this forum. Is there a prerequisite number of add-ons/installs that must be achieved before a user gets access to this forum?

Thanks!

Yes you must reach a certain amount of coding points.

Half the people in there aren't even coders anyway Kaelon so I wouldn't worry :)

Kaelon 06-27-2008 02:28 PM

Thanks, Marco. Is there a link somewhere that explains how "coding points" work?

Dean C - I suspected as much, but I like working towards fun new goals. ;)

Opserty 06-27-2008 02:44 PM

There isn't anything interesting in there anyway :p

Or at least an "attempt" at one. ;)

It's where the coders privately ask for help.

There isn't too much actual "discussion", unfortunately.

Boofo 06-27-2008 05:13 PM

Not "coding helpul" discussion, anyway.

Sorry Bob.

What would you call these?

nexialys 06-27-2008 06:05 PM

i call these "snap on the tongue"... lol

Boofo 06-27-2008 06:09 PM

I wasn't referring to myself, generally. ;)

Nope, the "formula" is secret and is a mix of many things (ie. install counts, etc.).

Opserty 06-28-2008 09:30 AM

It also involves feeding the Admins lots of Candy and Beer... but they don't tell you that bit :D

nexialys 06-28-2008 09:55 AM

OK, that's enough... Opserty, i'll request that you resign from your situation... you tell everybody our little secrets even if you swear that you would keep it shut until your death...

tsss... advisors

(hey, joking!)

Marco van Herwaarden 06-28-2008 10:09 AM

Watch it Opserty, or i am forced to disclose how you became an Advisor. ;)

:D

Boofo 06-28-2008 10:13 AM

Opserty's not afraid. In fact, I hear him daring you now. ;)

Marco van Herwaarden 06-28-2008 10:15 AM

In that case i suggest a visit to your doctor. Opserty is a she and has a very female voice.

Boofo 06-28-2008 10:20 AM

Like my doctor can tell the difference? You don't know my doctor.

But I didn't know he was a she, so thanks for that part, at least.

and if you go to Opserty's website, you will see how she look... LOL

Boofo 06-28-2008 11:51 AM

She must run a hell of a lot of forums then because I have seen her pic many times. ;)

Opserty 06-28-2008 02:46 PM

Sush Marco! You weren't meant to tell them that!

Then again it got me up to Advisor... Marco has a weak mind and easy to manipulate...

...if only he knew my true plans...

*does evil cackle*

:D

Boofo 06-28-2008 03:25 PM

Ohhh, I am so tempted to respond to your post but I will behave. ;)

KURTZ 06-28-2008 03:27 PM

Opserty is a she? oh my goodness .... now i can say: 'i'd viewed all what i can view' ... :D except the coders room ... LOL
