IWT - vBExperience - ibProArcade Highscorer Points [v1.0.0]
 

What is it?
This is an addon for the vBExperience mod that will allow you to give points to your users for having highscores.

So for every game they have the highscore in they will get points.

Are there any requirements?
Yes you must have ibProArcade version 2.6.7 or newer installed as well as vBExperience version 3.7.14
Just so you know the product will check to make sure you meet the conditions on install to make things simple on you.

Screenshots?
If somebody wants to post some feel free I have more important things todo with my time and they really arent needed just go look at the original vBExperience screenshots.

Settings
The setting for this mod for how many points to give for each championship is under the points setting page for vBExperience.

Planned additions
Right now I am not sure if I will extend this modification to give points for other things of the arcade. If you would like to see points added for something in the arcade please post the request in the thread and I will see about adding it if I have some free time.

This modification was created for www.profilerealm.com and wasn't initially intended for release, but I changed my mind and decided to release it since I know there are quite a few users who most likely would like to have it.

Yes you can create awards for this. The option shows up in the awards manager in the admincp.

Do you have VBExperience and IBProArcade installed?

If you dont you will get that error as this mod needs them :up:

If you have the arcade mod installed then make sure you update it as I have only tested this with 2.6.7 so thats the minimum version that it looks for which has been out for quite some time now. If you dont have the ibProArcade installed then you cant use this modification as its designed to give points for the arcade championships from ibProArcade only.

That's why I setup the product dependencies to make sure people didn't set it up who couldn't currently use it. :)

I've installed it I think, where can I see if it has done anything? Nothing has changed, even though it said it has installed?

oh wait I have just noticed I was cliciking the wrong file and importing another mod, actually it explains why the other mod wasn't working either cos I got mixed up, I've sorted it ow, thanks.

I know it's bad to ask this kinda stuff in the competitors threads, but is there anything like this for v3arcade or is anyone interested in working on anything like this for v3arcade? :(

I would be open to considering creating this modification for v3arcade provided somebody would be willing to setup a development board for it as I don't have time to setup a dev board for a modification that I don't use. If you are interested in getting this modification created for v3arcade please send me a pm and we will discuss it and see about getting it made. :)

I have been provided with a dev area for this thanks to everybody who offered one. I will hopefully have the modification done in the next few days just got to get some free time. :)

I have made the award now for arcade but where do I put the image of the trophy so that it shows up and what do I call it etc. Any ideas?

Why doesn't the award icon show up on the vbExperinece ranking page. Just a box with an X in it.

Never mind, I figure out that you have to call an award in the Edit Award Unique Indentifier field.

This must be a reward that is in the images directory. :o

Yea you have to have an image for the award as this addon doesn't include an award image.

Is there an error with a missing Phrase or something? I go to the points config and I assume its the point value for this one (1.25) but there is no description or heading or anything.

There wasn't as far as I know and nobody else has reported a problem like that yet. I will have my developer look at it and see if there is a problem in the xml file.

I don't understand where to put the picture for the award, I have the picture in my images directory and called the unique identifier the same as the picture file name, is this not correct?? Any help much appreciated.

Picture must be in the images/level directory of your Style.

Hi I have just added product_vbexperience383 and my vbulletin version is 3.7.3 P1 my arcade is ibProArcade v2.6.8+

and I am getting this error:

Can someone please explain what I have done wrong or point me to the right threat to upload/upgrade so I am able to use this addon.

You will need to install the version that comes with vBExperience 3.8.3:
ZIP - extras\Addons\addon_ibparcade.xml

So I have vbexperience 3.8.3 and this won't work with it. Is there a way to make it work -- or is there a more updated version of this add-on to work with the newer Experience? Thanks.
