I use my released mods daily, if I find an issue with them or add features for myself I will release updates. If there are significant bugs or simple feature requests I will do my best to release fixes. Some of my mods rely on fetching data from 3rd party websites, due to the unreliable results, my mods will require users to troubleshoot for themselves if they find the addon is not working for them specifically. I am offering my personal mods that work ok for me for you to use, I am sorry I do not have time to troubleshoot many user specific issues. Thank you for your understanding.

one day when i find the time to download all the zip files i mite check it out, i cant comment
on the style as there is no screen shots/demo?

for some reason when i first looked at all what i had to download just to simply add a style i wanted to run :D
maybe its easier than it looks lol.

cheers

Eneswar 06-19-2008 06:07 AM

tuaguild 06-19-2008 08:39 AM

This is the most blizzlike forums out there i really have to give props to PayBas for codeing the original his work is awesome. All i really did was update it for vb 3.7.x and add the wrath of the lich king theme.

sensimilla 06-19-2008 09:07 AM

Amazing work.

Player-63 06-19-2008 09:10 AM

Dude! your the best, I've been looking for a WotLK theme for ages =D Downloading will install later.

soothius 06-19-2008 09:44 AM

Downloaded and will have a look. Look good though!

BlizzardHQ 06-19-2008 10:37 AM

Will this seamless into vBadvanced like you have? Also can you make Thanks and +Rep buttons the size of the buttons/quote.gif images.

M-Tuning 06-19-2008 04:46 PM

looks good :D

tuaguild 06-19-2008 05:37 PM

in order to run it on any custom page including vbadvanced you have to go into the templates and edit the template for that custom page getting rid of the $navbar line. In vbadvanced the template to edit is adv_portal also the buttons cannot be edited due to i am trying to keep this theme as blizzlike as possible.

tuaguild 06-19-2008 05:53 PM

also if you want all the files consolidated i have it in one package on the forums at the support site.

tuaguild 06-20-2008 12:09 AM

v1.02 released fixed slight style issue when switching from wrath style back to other styles

tuaguild 06-20-2008 01:07 AM

also added the wotlk images i forgot to add it to the files when i was editing the whole deal to upload sorry i was half asleep

tuaguild 06-20-2008 02:40 AM

had to fix an issue i caused please disregard the style xml

zero_ZX 06-20-2008 05:09 PM

now i can start using vbulletin 3.7 instead of 3.5 hurray! :D

EDIT:
Wheres the style file?
-----Oh this give the non-extension file following extion: .xml

SEOvB 06-20-2008 09:46 PM

Very nice skin! Shame I purchased a WoW skin already, though i may still consider using this!

tuaguild 06-20-2008 10:10 PM

all the files needed are in the archived files they are labeled as good as i could if you want to download the whole package in one archive pm me and i will let you know how to do it

tuaguild 06-21-2008 12:37 AM

the only thing different between the style versions is .css and .xml cleanup and optimization all other things are the same such as the images, javascript, and functions_forumlist.php

tuaguild 06-21-2008 10:05 PM

fixed small style issue

zero_ZX 06-22-2008 08:36 AM

How to customize the forum icons:

Go to your /public_html/images/w_forumbullets/
Now you see the images starting with
f<number>

F=forum
<number> = id on the forum

simply just change the numbers to fit into your forums
Same applies for the wow-base-<number>
you use f and the index
and you use wow-base when you are browsing the forums

Please reply if you need further explanation, this is just a short writting guide.

tuaguild 06-22-2008 06:28 PM

thanks zero and the wow-base-xxx.gif files you dont have to edit due to i have them fixed on one image for the wotlk style the only way i could get it to work in the wotlk

wolfstream 06-23-2008 02:14 AM

Yeah, now if this style actually WORKED it'd be nice. Forum owners shouldn't have to follow 500 steps, or even 10 to get their style working, and they certainly shouldn't have to rename anything.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but, at least with VBSEO, this style, not working at all.

tuaguild 06-23-2008 11:33 AM

ok this style does work cause i am acctually using it on my forums.
the reason you have to go through all those steps is to make your forums look as blizzlike as possible which means they are trying to make it look like the forums at worldofwarcraft.com i dont use seo so that may be y this style doesnt work with vbseo i think it has something to do with the htaccess file that vbseo uses if anyone wants to take up fixing this let me know

tuaguild 06-23-2008 07:09 PM

fixed even more style issues. If you need the whole package in one file easily labeled with all items that need uploading in an upload folder you can download it from the downloads page of my support forums http://www.descendantshq.org/downloads.php registration is not required to download

tuaguild 06-24-2008 02:38 AM

having problems with getting the search results page javascript to operate properly
http://www.descendantshq.org/search.php?searchid=30
if anyone has any suggestions pst they used to work in the old version but in the one i coded for 3.7.1

tuaguild 06-24-2008 11:32 PM

added pdf readme file by paybas from version 0.59 edited by me

This does work!
Get to know vbulletin omg lol, its not that complicated to simply just FOLLOW a readme!!!

If you do not like modding, what about using an original skin?.

Now if you actually started thi*ing it WOULD be nice!?

@tuaguild. Good job so far. if you put my guide about the images into your readme, please do credit me for it.

tuaguild 06-25-2008 05:47 PM

na it is paybas' readme from the old version i just added the stuff for the wotlk style but the wow-base images are set in stone due to i could not alternate them per forum in the style sheets still working on that one

tuaguild 06-25-2008 08:43 PM

fixed slight style problem with forum nav menu inside forums

Kalam 06-26-2008 10:33 PM

In your readme you mention how to put the /css, /images/, and /js folders in the root shared with your /forum within public_http. My problem is that my forum is located in the base root right after public_http.

Example: /public_http/admincp/

What is the best way to fix this?

tuaguild 06-26-2008 11:12 PM

well i have mine in the same way just upload it to base root and go from there that is what i did for descendantshq.org it doesnt have to have it the same way the readme says it is just assuming that you have the forum set up in that format but if it is in base you do not have to upload the way it says it will look like this
/css/
/js/
and so on

tuaguild 06-30-2008 12:15 PM

I am going to add my mod gItemstats wowhead edition to this fully integrated of course

tuaguild 06-30-2008 02:02 PM

Added WoWhead Item Tooltips to style

tuaguild 06-30-2008 06:04 PM

Here is a small tutorial on custom vb pages from mods or the like:

If you are using something like vbadvanced and want it to just be the header and navbar without the forum jump menu and user box find $navbar in that specific template and delete the $navbar line.

If you want the forum jump menu on the page along with the user login/loggedin box find the $navbar line and after it add
Code:

<!-- Navbar TBC Styling closer -->
</div>
<!-- / Navbar TBC Styling closer -->

that will close out the navbar and keep the footer from mixing with your page

tuaguild 07-01-2008 12:36 PM

fixed slight issue with the calendar

Kalam 07-02-2008 12:22 AM

Nice updates. It installs fine in the root, just like your forum uses. Another problem that I've come across seems connected to Firefox 3.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/07/95.jpg

The navbar displays correctly in older version of Firefox and in IE. Do you know what's causing this or an easy way to fix it?

*EDIT*

Also, all collapse_tcat.gif and collapsed_tcat.gif images link to your site with http://www.descendantshq.org//images/w_buttons/collapse_tcat.gif and http://www.descendantshq.org//images/w_buttons/collapse_tcat_collapsed.gif respectively.

tuaguild 07-03-2008 12:33 AM

im not sure i will look into it

edit

i cant figure out y they are doing that it is very odd but the images are still working as long as they are in the right folder so i am not too worried about it also the navbar issue doesnt display on ie7 that is what i am using now and well i have no php/html errors or any others except for on the search page and i am working on that

joeeleven 07-03-2008 02:50 PM

hey bro anyway to find skins like this but not based on W.O.W, i really like it but i wish we could find some more templates like this non wow.
thanks for all the hard work

quarum 07-03-2008 05:58 PM

Any thought of making a version of this that will work if other skins are installed? Something somewhat stripped down but has the color and images, but works with other skins installed on the site as well?

tuaguild 07-03-2008 06:11 PM

yeah you can do it just put the original functions_forumlist.php file back in the includes folder
