Advanced Private Messages Options
 

Hi There

Please remember to Click Mark as Installed if you use this modification.

today I have A Very Important Plugins
It's allow you to control P.M Sending

With that Plugin you can :

• Set minimum Posts to send Private Messages
• Change the message if the member have less that Requested Posts
• Disallow usergroups To send Private Messages And Change The display error message
• Disallow user(s) to send Private Messages and also you can change the Display Error Message

How to Install :

• Import XML file from your AdminCP
• Click Mark as Installed if you install it :rolleyes: !

Control :

• AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Advanced Private Messages Options

Note : Arabic translation also attached :confused:

Sorry but I think in Cyb mod about Advanced permissions based on post count, the PM permission is already included also :D

simple :) i need the possibility to send PMs to a specific (or all) usergroup(s) thru the ACP or something like this ... :)

If a new user comes to the forum with 0 posts and have some question to the admins can send PMs to admins ?
Its normal the users have some questions before making posts!

This functions is very useful.

this is a good idea the PM system has beeen overlooked throughout ver 3.x of vb

but one thing i wish you would add is, if the subject is empty when u click send, instead of an error it just auto fills the subject line with "(no subject)"

Can this be configured so a user can block another user from sending pms?

i was looking for this but this mod mising one thing..
can you do something so users with less than X posts can send pm to forum staff [usergroups set in vb acp in mod option]

and also one more request: can u add visitor message restrictions too?

i have used such mod in 3.6.8 which has that option too..

Great Mod that is.

It's for 3.6.5 but has worked fine for me on 3.7.2RC1. (I use it every week and I haven't had any issues in the month and a half that I've used it.)

but it will only allow 2 usergroups to be added to only send/recieve pms to admins/moderators.

I need one that will stop several usergroups.

I have installed it on 3.8.1 and works fine but i have two points :-

i want to do exceptions for few membergoroups from this restriction ( new moderators are not able to send any PM as they have less than minimum posts set in hack an VB cp

is the options for no of posts and group no works together or only one of them ??
