Really Nice mod PHPKD, I like it ...

Thanks

*installed*

whitetigergrowl 05-24-2008 03:50 AM

The box for the quick reply is like half the height it should be for me.

Also can the smilies be made just as a drop down option? Or with fewer selectable so it doesn't offset the reply box height dimensions.

But that it was it looks like by default with 15 smilies. Doesn't really change when there are fewer.

Hi PHPKD,

Could you add new function "Attachment in Quickreply" with Full Quick Reply ??

Thanks,

This mod is designed to be displayed with the same hight as the default "Quick Reply", also if you checked it with the default smilies it will be displayed normally with no disturbance in the hight. that disturbance is due to the large smilies you have.
You has three solutions: 1. decrease number of smilies displayed. 2. display smilies under the editor rather than beside it. 3. edit the template 'phpkd_fqr_showthread_quickreply' to fit your needs.

It's not easy to add attachments to the quick reply, but we will try to code it as a separate product with integration ability with this mod.

I tried doing the smileys below it thing. It still stayed boxed rather than them spreading out.

That's because you should edit "Smiliebox Smilies Per Row" setting from AdminCP options :).

Arrggghhh.....

It breaks down the functionality of PNG Editor Buttons

The 3.6.x Modifications like this one are working with it.

Uninstalled ...... :( ... will reinstall if it does not affect the complete Style of the Quickreply-Template. Maybe the others are working with Hooks?

It doesn't break it at all, just open the template 'phpkd_fqr_showthread_quickreply' & edit all the .gif extentions of the buttons to .png.
That's all what the other mod. do. :)
THis way you should get both mods working together & come here again to click "Install" ;).

Thanks for this awesome plugin.

I also have the same issue of the text box being about half the height. Can you tell us which setting in the template needs to be modified to increase the height of the text box?

Also, I dont have the Settings option in the vBulletin Options for this mod. Using 3.70

First: "Full Quick Reply BB Code Settings" located just under "BB Code Settings".
Second: You can search for the following code & edit it to fit your needs:
Code:

                                                <if condition="$show['qr_require_click']">
                                                        <textarea name="message" id="{$editorid}_textarea" rows="10" cols="60" style="width: <if condition="$vboptions['phpkd_fqr_messagewidth']">100%<else />$stylevar[messagewidth]</if>; height:{$editor_height}px" tabindex="1" dir="$stylevar[textdirection]" disabled="disabled">$vbphrase[click_quick_reply_icon]</textarea>
                                                <else />
                                                        <textarea name="message" id="{$editorid}_textarea" rows="10" cols="60" style="width: <if condition="$vboptions['phpkd_fqr_messagewidth']">100%<else />$stylevar[messagewidth]</if>; height:{$editor_height}px" tabindex="1" dir="$stylevar[textdirection]"></textarea>
                                                </if>

You should change the the height attribution also (for the textarea tag), see:
Code:

height:{$editor_height}px

That's right, we don't include this in the default one due to some issues can be raised up later, we will check it & try to add it as an optional feature controlled from AdminCP options (In the next version).

That's right, it's just only one simple light query to get X smilies to be displayed in the smilie box/menu.

See the technical stats:
Time Taken: 0.00028 seconds
Memory Used: 1.625 KB
It can be neglected :).

Any way it will be optimized in the next release to prevent this query if smilies disabled, but if enabled from AdminCP options there will be no way to disable this query, that's the price of independency (We don't need to depend on other code portions as we stated in the thread header).

You are welcome.

No - the other Mod?s are using the Originaltemplates. ;)

Too much work because it was not only that. The Pixelwidth has to be edited to 16*16 for every Pic.

Have done this now - but i hope it will not be affected by the next Hack-Update. ;)

BTW - Feature Request:

Add Icons of customized BB-Codes.

No, it isn't.
As stated in the installation procedure of that mod:

Quote:

Merge the style.xml file into each style you want to apply the changes to. This will only work on styles with unedited editor templates. If your editor templates are modified then you will need to revert them to apply this change. To do this follow the steps below.
The XML file you import contains edited versions of the mentioned templates :), revisit the mod thread, then open the XML to see what we mean & be sure that we are right ;).

Your suggestion was mentioned before & we have replied on it in our previous reply.

search on phpkd_fqr_showthread_quickreply

Code:

<if condition="$show['html_bbcode']">
                                                <td><div class="imagebutton" id="{$editorid}_cmd_wrap0_html"><img src="$stylevar[imgdir_editor]/html.gif"  width="21" height="20" alt="$vbphrase[wrap_html_tags]" /></div></td></if>

Just after add

Code:

$vBeditTemplate[extrabuttons]

That's right, we don't include this in the default one due to some issues can be raised up later, we will check it & try to add it as an optional feature controlled from AdminCP options (In the next version).

Any way Thanks

It should work!
This product tested & works fine with all stable 3.7.x series (also on 3.7.1).
Be sure that your hooks system is activated & your vBulletin 3.7.x is running fine, if it still not working, so please refer to your board by a link.

Dont work in 3.7.1 this:

--You can display the smiliebox below editor rather than beside it by activating this setting.

Regards
