Do you have permission from Activision to use the Call of Duty logo(s)?

uh oh..lol

do you need their permission to use it if you're not using it to make money? it's only promoting the game if anything. just thinking...

logo looks good but wheres my glasses.

They actually encourage graphics like this, provided the person creating the style/theme using the graphic is not taking a profit from it. "Fansite" graphics/material can be obtained from a number of locations.

Whether you make money from the logo or not (non-promotional) it still violates copyright without permission.

Yea it does look nice :) but im still waiting for a Counter strike source for 3.7

I don't dispute that. Activision actually takes the time to make the their logos, for this game and most of their other games, downloadable on their site for purposes such as this style. You'll find most gaming companies are very eager to have their product logos incorporated into as many sites as the can possibly manage. It's great word of mouth and better than Google Adsense for targeting their advertising specifically to gamers.

Not trying to knock what you're saying here, I loath copyright violators myself, but it's not the case here. If you have a look at the Activision site you'll find logos and guidelines for use readily available for download.

This isn't the case according to http://www.activision.com/index.html..._US|type:terms section 4 (because it is flash I cannot directly link).

That's their general Terms for everything on the site. You're missing the part in that statement in section 4 where it says:

Then they specifically make the logos for most of their games into downloadable packages with graphic sources for use by those who download them. Take a look through the Press Center, and through their downloads section.

As long as you don't claim to be them, and use it soley for promotion, you're following their guidelines.

I have attached a screenshot of section 4 and section 8, with additional areas highlighted. If these logos are allowed to be redistributed and permission has been granted, it must accompany this release.

Could someone help me add the tables around the items posts, join date, and anything else I may have like that? I'm referring to the boxes that are around some of the postbit_legacy items you see on certain skins.

Great skin! With a couple edits it was the perfect fit for our new clan forum ;).
Any chance I can get a copy of the nav button without the text on it(member list etc) so that I can add more for any other things I need?

Oh side note when installing you have to change all of the 3.7.0 in the to 3.7.2 in the xml file or the forum yells at you for having the wrong version :P

Change the colours similar to this cod forum -- it will look a lot better then! :)
