you usually merge threads manually when they have almost the similar content/posts.

To do this:-
1. Select the threads/topics you want to merge.
2. From the Moderation drop down-> select Merge Threads-> Go
3. It then asks to select the destination thread from the two.

You can even merge similar posts from within the specific Thread's Moderation dropdown.

I hope this is what you are looking for !!

Thanks, but i think its a feature on vbulletin.org aswell. Where if a user double posts it automaticly merges it.

It's not out for 3.7 if that's what you are wanting it for :( I'm hoping someone will do it too.

veenuisthebest 05-13-2008 08:13 PM

oops !! so this is what you were looking for. I confused it with something else !! you should have been more clear in the first post !!

Not sure... if it works for 3.7 as well.. coz the mod is tooo old !!

Mum 05-14-2008 01:25 AM

It doesn't work for 3.7

veenuisthebest 05-14-2008 01:27 AM

works fine on 3.7

Can we add in a ------------------------------------------------ thing between first and doublepost bits when they are merged

King Kovifor 06-15-2008 02:20 PM

It would probably require editing one of the plugins. What does it display by default?

Opserty 06-15-2008 02:27 PM

karnevil according to the product's XML file there should be an option to set it in the vBulletin options (AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options) for the modification have you checked there?
