I no longer support my hacks. Please feel free to update them and release new versions elsewhere as long as I get the credit for the original modification.

DESCRIPTION

Allows unalterable administrators to modify their own accounts (with the exception of the password, usergroup and membergroups) via admincp.

Wouldn't this then defeat the object of being unalterable? I quite like the idea but does it not reduce site security?

That's up to the board owner to decide. It seems to me that, as long as it is not possible to edit the password and/or usergroups, the account is safe enough.

Just what I needed.
Now if only the $config['Misc']['debug'] = true;
were an admincp setting also.
I failed attempting to hook init_startup :(

Most definitely- lol but I was thinking more as a development tool on a non-production site.
