Cyb - Thread Listing Make-Up
Info:
There was two of my hacks for this, one for prefixes and another for titles, and now it's all merged into this product and improved. Old two products are discontinued so please upgrade to this one to get future updates and support. This hack will give you ability to customize thread prefixes to look different in forumdisplay and search results depending on thread type (normal, sticky, poll, closed, moderated, moved, announcement). You can do the same thing with thread titles. Hack also adds thread prefix for closed threads and ability to separate stickies and normal threads. You can use different CSS Properties to customize titles/prefixes. You can change colors, apply different styles like bold, italic, strike,... etc. It's up to you. Product is very easy to set up. Installation: 1. Import XML file (as product): AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product] To set options: Go to: AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Cyb - Thread Listing Make-Up Versions: v1.0 - Mar 17. 2007. -First release (two old hacks merged into this new one, ID changed, added "Product Version Checking", codes improved, removed some unneded templates, yet easier to use, options to disable any part,...) v1.1 - Mar 18. 2007. -New: Announcements prefixes/titles customization -New: Option to separate Sticky and Normal threads -Bug fixed (tags shown in text field when you edit thread title via AJAX on forumdisplay) v1.2 - May 03. 2008. -Compatible with vBulletin 3.7 Click INSTALL if you like this hack. |

I'm going to install it. :D Nominated.;) |
strange I have installed the plugin and enabled the prefix and whole hack option but when I look at some of the sticky's I have posted there is no thread make up showing?
Any ideas what I have done wrong? |
Oh sorted it, I added a Hex colour code i.e. 0000FF and that wasn't showing, when I added "Red" it did!
Any reason why the hex colour code isn't working? |
lol I missed the # DOH!
Installed and nominated! |
Nice !
It even give you an option to separate the sticky and normal threads. Thank's and installed. |
oh yes, one thing : if you can give an option to customize the border for sticky and normal threads separator, such as you can custom the color, the line weight, etc it will be better.
:D again, nice hack. |
nice, thanks
|
Sorry but it doesn't work...
|
Nice job, it works fine on my 3.7.
thankyou. :) |
Wow, ive never seen this before, and always wanted it :O
Thanks :D |
Great mod Cybernetec,
I like how it separates the threads from normal threads. Nice one Is there a mod so you can change the font color for the forum description? and so they can be different colors? |
Feature request: can you provide an option to customize thread titles based on popularity (ie: number of replies and/or number of views)? Thanks for considering. ;)

Marked as installed and nominated.
Works very well, as with all Cyb hacks. :) |
this is a wonderful modification.
i was just wondering if it is possible to launch this officially in 3.8 as well so that i dont have to come in here again. it is working though with 3.8 @ my forums. |
There is 3.8 version in 3.8 section. Check my profile for the link.
|
Nice mod. Good idea to make stickies literally "stick out".
Thank you *INSTALLED* |
Can you include a set of control for a specific usergroup, when they create a thread it will easily be noticed/read by members?
|
Anyway I can get the text that says "Sticky:" a different color than the sticky thread. Say I want both to be custom colored...
|
got it.
|
Wonderfull.Thanks.
|
thanks it works fine
|
I really liked this on my forum, is this going to be ported to 4.0?
|
