Internet Explorer 7.05 scrunches columns to left of page. Firefox and Opera span evenly across page.

You can see what I mean at my site here.

Four columns.

Firefox and Opera display the four columns evenly across page. IE7 scrunches the four columns to the left side of page. View the link using the three browsers and you'll see the "Online Puzzle Games" forum is scrunched in IE7 but the other two browsers display four columns evenly.

Solution found. :)
I had one sub-forum set to display only under certain circumstances. Changed Online Puzzle Games forum to match the other sub-forum settings and all sub-forums open to public viewing.

However,:( IE7 still scrunches sub-forum listings in private areas when a member with permissions for that private area logs in.

IE7 aligns properly if all sub-forums open to public, as the Online Puzzle Games shows, but scrunches listings to the left for private areas.

When "Show Private Forum" for main forum set to "Yes- hide post counts" and all sub-forums set to "No" for "Show Private Forum" then IE7 scrunches sub-forums to the left side of page. To open private areas to public viewing by setting all sub-forums to "Yes - hide post counts" sort of defeats the idea of private areas. Setting main forum and all sub-forums to "No" or "Yes- hide post counts" doesn't solve IE7 problem for members when they have logged in.

For the time being I've posted a notice of IE problem on site and suggest members use Firefox or Opera.

Fixed. Uninstalled then reinstalled mod.

belceb 05-17-2008 03:18 AM

in vb 3.6.8 work's fine but in 3.7 dont work it :(

smirkley 05-17-2008 03:48 AM

Works for me in 3.7 well.

Did some minor tweaks, and still playing with in my test area.

As far as vista vs xp, well I am testing on both and testing on different screen resolutions. So far only minor adjustments for either. And I think the suggested issues by other posters are the diff between browser versions imo.

DieselMinded 05-17-2008 08:45 AM

Works great onb my 3.7.0 board other than Wacking out when i try to fix the cyb stats mod

Quantnet 05-26-2008 10:17 PM

I had it working on 3.6.8
I set sub forum depth to 1

Leo Brazil 05-29-2008 08:19 PM

Does anyone here is using this mod combined with Forumhome Category Spacing ?

If I try to use them together mess up with my board, that's because both of them share some templates.

Maybe someone here uses both and found a solution for.

Cheers

joeycano 05-30-2008 05:02 AM

My forumhome is perfect just like was supposed to be. But on sub forums pages The first sub forums are showed OK but the last ones on the page completely messed up.

Have you change something to work with or just both original mods ?

Tks

Sakai Ray 06-01-2008 08:21 PM

Thanks for the hack.

digitalhype 06-02-2008 05:41 PM

Hi, first off, just wanted to say thank you for the mod, perfect for my use but I do have a slight problem.

Info:
vBulletin v3.7.1
Cyb-SubForum Manager v2.5 (4 columns)
Firefox v2.0.0.14
No other mods on the ForumHome template.

I finally did the first post on the forum and noticed the forums are breaking off the ForumHome page. I went through the mods I have installed and disabled them all and then went through 1 by 1 and enabled them individually until I came across the one causing the problem. Unfortunately it was this mod. I've enclosed a screen shot and circled the break, post causing the break and some of the subforums so you can get an overview of what I'm seeing.

Do you know what would be causing that? What do I need to look for to modify so I can fix?

Any assistance would be great, thanks

Update: Setting on 2 cols makes the page look correct.
