Cyb - Last Post Info Enhancements
 

Info:
This will enable you to show several latest posts for selected forums instead of standard last post info. Number of latest posts is set for each forum separately in Forum Manager. Be noted that this executes 1 new query on forumhome/forumdisplay per forum where you choose to show 2 or more latest posts. In combination with "Cyb - Sub-Forum Manager" this can really improve your forum listing look.


Installation:
-Import XML file (as product) through AdminCP: Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]


To set options:
Go to: vBulletin Options > Cyb - Last Post Info Enhancements

Same problem here. I cannot see in my forum after I was updated to 3.7.0;

First after update I enabled old version, and it was working, after that I checked for new version, disabled old version and installed new version 1.2 and I don't see anything what this mod must do? Strange?

I've just installed it but it seems that nothing happens at all.

Is there any aditional settings for besides those pretty easy ones on Vb Options ?

I have also Sub Forums Manager installed.

I searched all over the plaice, and I think it is bug with product for version 7.

Hi guys, I found out what was happening with that. Believe it or not it's just a matter of configuration.

You have to go Admin CP > Forums and Moderators > Forums Manager

After that you will have to edit every single forum you have in your board.
At the end of table of Forum Edition you will find:

Last Post Info Enhancements
Number of posts to show in "Last Post" field

Be noted that this will execute one new query on forumhome/forumdisplay when set to 2 or higher value

Default setting is one and you must use 2 or more to be effective.

Sorry but I can't make it works.
I installed and enabled it, but it still displays only 1 new thread.

Great mod, just need some modification to work with TfSEO 2.0, exactly with rewrite, i tested it with 301 redirects its working fine, but with full rewrite its not working, i think its need few modification to work,

please advice.

A bug was found here...

When you move a thread which is displaying now on forum home from one forum to another, then after move you will see in old forum the Thread with incorrect URL and incorrect URL for last post for that thread.

Best seen on screenshots I attached.

Added this mod to your subforum manager....looks great.

I did note that the setting for Exclude forums says:
After testing, and not logged in but as a guest, or logged in as just a member, topic titles and related info were disclosed in my private forums.

IE - I have two forums that only the poster can see a particular thread he/she starts, and the standard vb setting is that anyone visiting CANNOT read any thread NOT started by that same viewer. (IE-a complaints forum)

But, with this hack installed, it discloses the poster and thread title in this area to everyone.

I like this addition to your subforums manager, but I cant use it until it follows the oem permissions mask.

Need a little help here. We want to add a RSS feed but we do not want it to show in the top 10 list as the feeds will keep this mod packed with them and not peoples post. I have tried to add the ID number as stated in "(Exclude forums (comma separated ForumID list)" but when we post the RSS feeds to that topic it still puts them in the top 10. How can I stop this from picking up that forum?
