Can this be true! I already report.
Hi,
I know and already report a site that's using a unbranded version of vB + unbranded version of vBSeo + and unbranded version of PhotoPost. Sum = $774 of software to run a board with 1,900 topics, 70000 messages, 950 members. vBulletin Branded Free: The only mods I can see, are the one that can be downloaded outside vB.org and the theme is a light modification of the vB default. I don't have nothing to do if someone spend almost $1000 to run a board, but that's very odd that this guys are running a board without any visible mod downloaded from vB.org and the branded free version of vB is removed adding I already report this to vB and vBSeo some time ago but they still running. If anyone from vB staff cares about this, I'll be glad to indicate the url. |
I'm sure the VB staff have been looking into the site
|
Well, i already repost his one moth ago (twice).
That not difficult to know where they are. |
Each report is investigated. If there is a license problem we will take action.
As a customer you can however not see if the site has a license or not. Also it depends on the host how fast action can be taken if there is something wrong. |

Why would it be strange that someone buys (i don't know if they bought or not) a Branding Free options. Many sites pay to have branding removed.
|
I run brand frees on one of my sites, vb and cmps, and I have vbseo (have not installed vbseo)
What is so unusual about a brand free site. Quote:

why does it have to hide the copyright from Jelsof like this:
Why the mods they are running are the only the ones that can be downloaded outside vB.org That's because of this I'm placing these questions, but i don't care (as I've said before) that they spend 1000 or 100000 on the board. As a owner of some vB licenses I have the obligation and the right to question this! |
Maybe they are running a valid License? You're assuming that they don't based on a few facts, there maybe explanations for these there maybe none. However if you have reported to vBulletin.com it will be looked at and checked. Action will be taken by vBulletin.com if they have to or they will dismiss the report if they find no evidence to indicate otherwise. Posting here will do nothing to resolve the problem or highlight it in any way whatsoever.

There is no such thing as brandfree vbseo, so that would lead me to believe the site is using illegal copies...however, there are tons of sites out there like that and many are on hosts in countries that could care less about copyright laws and will not react to DMCA notices...just a fact of life.

vbseo has a brand removal option.
|
Geez, vbseo has brand free (have for a while, did not in the beginning) and when you buy vbulletin brand free they give you the instructions to remove that copyright, that's what the extra $129 on top of the license is for (or whatever I paid, I'd have to look it up but I think that's what I paid for brand free.
And some do not install aftermarket hacks from vb.org. I'm sorry I just don't find anything you posted unusual, strange, or weird. $117 brand free removal https://www.vbseo.com/purchase/buy-vbseo-options.html |
