What Donation System LITE Is:
Donation System LITE process', monitors, records donation payments. Donation System LITE will allow site Admins full control over their donations, with the ability to track monthly or yearly goals and perform multiple searches from your admincp.

Donation System LITE is a complete system that controls donations and how they are received via backend interfacing between your vBulletin server and a payment method gateway server. The beauty of this marriage of servers is quite simply automation of the payment process as well as security of the transactions for both you, the administrator, and your users. With the Donation System LITE installed on your forums, you will be able to bring in that much needed income to not only keep your forums alive, but also to help defer costs of doing so to the users of your site without having to bug everyone and beg for money.

This seamless integration of any payment method as your backend payment processor not only provides your user with a well known and safe payment processors, but you are saved the hassle of opening a merchant account with your banking institution as well as saves you time in the process as it takes only a few short minutes to sign up with current allowed methods of payment if you are not already an account holder there. It also keeps your users and you the site owner informed on the status of payments with its notification system built in.

Ok fixed the phrase issue with minimum allowed donation amount as well as fixed the CMPS auto global variable stuff. So please re-download.

FIXED: Issue with previous V1 users upgrading to V2. I accidentally had the same group # in the XML for admin NAV which was causing the merger. V1 is 104 and V2 is now 106 which solves the issue. Also in the transfer of donations I accidentally had PRO ds condition and not dsl LITE condition for transfer it is all fixed now so re-download.

Hello! I have upgraded to V2 per your suggestion. That corrected an issue I had with the progress bar updating. Having usergourps changes do not add new usergroup (they are turned on). The progress bar will still not display in CMPS (variables globalized).

You need to go to CMPS>Default Settings>Main Options> SAVE the options and it will work now.

Please take a screen shot of your usergroup change settings for me.

On the CMPS. I have already saved them. That's my problem with it. The bar will not display despite the variables being globalized.

MOVE and ADD are totally different. I think you want MOVE to usergroup. ADD means they are added to a membership group. YOU need to select MOVE. For it to work how you want :)

On the group change, I assumed "add"meant it would "add" the status to additional usergroups, which was my goal. This would enable all members to gain donator/VIP status, even specific ones that would rather use thier other title, such as role specific members who may want to donate and gain donation benifits of the new usergroup, but retain and display thier old status.

This is one great system... I have already received over 500 donations in just two months.

Our total net donations are well in to the 1000's and all thanks to this mod.

Great mod totally worth the money to get pro.

I was using the Cyb Paypal system but I now use AWCoding.

The AwCoding mod installed easily and without any errors. It looks better and is more configurable. The proof is that my donations have gone up :up:

I did post a couple of questions on the AWCoding site which where answered very quickly. In fact the support is excellent and polite.

Please delete out 'index,forum' and see if the donation bar shows on CMPS pages it SHOULD. Now if it does that means you need to put 'index,forum,adv_index'. This will add donation bar to the CMPS pages.

About the usergroup and membership groups. They are totally different so I need you to restate what you mean. MOVE will move the users current usergroup to the new usergroup you specify. Now it seems you do NOT want that but to ADD to their membership group. If this is correct let me know.

Also found issue on CMPS variables. I accidentally put PRO variables and not LITE variables to be added. So the fix for this is:
Go to AdminCP>CMPS>Default Settings>Main Options>Global Variables> Now add 'l' at the end of the 'ds' to specify dsl which is donation system lite.

The variables should be:
DS
dsl_link_menu
dsl_link_menu_options
dsl_bar

You may have more variables but make sure to change only these 4 and click save and all will be good. I have already updates this on the new ZIP. But those who already have it installed need to manually change variables. Sorry for the error.

CMPS problem = solved.

Okay. What I was trying to accomplish was rather complex. We have lots of role-specific groups though they are not quite leadership roles such as Moderators etc. Users would like those roles continuosly displayed, but if they donate, they would like the benefits that come with.

I'm not sure exactly how membership groups work as my vb experience is limited, but my overall goal was to have the VIP status added to additional usergroups for the VIP while retaining the VIP's primary usergroup. Did that make sense? I figured "ADD" should be the function I use.

there is no additional user groups it is membership groups. SO yes you want it set to ADD BUT BUT you want name changed to NO. So it wont change their title and keep whatever their user group is or user group title is. This will add them to a membership group. SO if the issue is it is NOT adding to membership group at all let me know.

User group and membership group is totally separate field in the user table. So please see who was supposed to be added to membership and look in that are. In a users details in admincp it will be the info check boxes right below user group.

You can't ADD to USERGROUP. Usergroup is ONE identifying group to the user. Membership is where you can add tons of groups and gain more access and privileges etc. For instance say your usergroup is moderator and your membership group is VIP. VIP may have access privileges OR access to other forums that moderator did not. Now the user stays identified as a moderator but can access the VIP special areas and so on.

This is just an example you can set usergroup and membership groups stuff up however you want.

AW, Are you going to add the pictures to the CMPS add-on...In place of the text? Was that added to your most recent update?

Yes it was and your referring to PRO.
LITE has CMPS included in install but only adds variables to allow DSLITE on CMPS pages like drop down menu and donation bar.

PRO has Sidebar module and Centerbar Module. Auto creates them and does everything for you.

I should have been more specific. I'm sorry.

I was referring to replacing the names of the top donors on the centerbar with the avatars of the the top donors. (aligned vertically)

I have PRO and have just updated it, but couldn't see that option. Did I miss it?

I haven't added that yet. Will be for next release sorry couldn't get it in in time for latest DSCMPS PRO release.

I just want to mention LITE version is going to get GOOGLE checkout as another payment option. This is a PRO feature being added to LITE.

PRO is getting about 10+ payment processing systems including all the VB internals ones (example: authorize.net, moneybookers, ccbill, etc.). Also getting a mail in payment system as well as bank transfer system.

Stay tuned for these updates sometime next week.

the conversion from vb 3.5 Paypal Donations is not working for me.

Do you have a sql query I can run in my PHPMYADMIN, to move my donors from the old system to yours??
