Great forumhome

Hi everyone.

I understand there might be other threads asking similar questions but I just wanted to have your views if anyone has ever developed or knows a way how to make forumhome look as good as this one.

This grid/table whatever you name, it looks fantastic imo..

Please post here if you have a reply from their staff.

They said you just have to modify the postbit with this:

"Comparteundoa tuiiousstuu taooruquitos de beldfdleza, aprioiende los seascretos para lucir siempresampos hermosamentos y bella. Tambien mantenreete al tanto de la moda nueva"

Im working it through my secret decorder ring a we speak.....

It's not the postbit(_legacy).

The template they changed is forumhome, because the rest of the pages over there look like any other normal vBulletin pages.

It takes some more editing to have the look as in this forum.

That hack only creates tabled list of forums, but i does not add other info like last post, viewers, date, forum icon etc...

ringleader 04-29-2008 03:21 PM

I did this the other day on my forum.

To get it looking like the following www.mingle.ie/social.php

I installed:

Forums Arranged in columns on forumhome (works fine on my 3.6.10 board):
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=99829

and

Custom Forum Status icons
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=102025

Then played a little with the forumhome_forumbit_columncell template that the first mod uses to overwrite the standard display of forum information.

It looks good, but I am not sure if I like it...thanks for the links I am going to play around with it, if I come up with something nice I will release it here

lol, actually the people who say that tend to be longtime users of bulletin boards.
They're so used to the forum listing, they can't accept how to navigate if it's different.

I'd only use my kind of style on a site that's targeted at non-traditional forum users ;)

SEOvB 04-29-2008 10:20 PM

i've got something similar at my SEO Talk forums

LEIVA 04-30-2008 01:59 AM
