This Mod allows admins to add Tooltips to Forum & CMPS templates...

This mod is currently setup to show tooltip balloons in forumhome, showthreads using bbcode and calendar templates...

1. Upload clientscript and images folders
2. Install plugin = Easy
3. Setup CSS in options and pick color of balloon
4. Beveled color pack added *** lower ttips

Guess I'm doing something wrong. I need an example of both the image and "clientscript/ttips_js/TTips2.js" paths. Can't seem to get the balloons to show up :(

• Upload the images folder to forum images folder...
• Make sure the path is correct or they wont show up...
• Upload he clientscript folder to forum clientscript folder...
• Make sure the path is correct or this mod wont work...
• Install plugin and goto vbulletin setting,,, setup options...
• Check bbcode setup helper and goto BBcode mgr and setup...
• Auto template works in forumhome template only...
• If you want this to work in other templates read mod info...

If you still can't get it to work,,, give me temp access to your test forum and I will assist...;)

can these balloons be used in place of quote boxes , in post replies ?

i added the bb code etc?

do we have to add

I've just got back from out of town and yes it could do that if setup using forum database... I haven't worked with database pulling data yet,,, I will look into database integration in the near future...

I did a auto template setup for this mod so that it only works in forumhome and showthreads...

If you want it to work in other templates,,, U must add the DIV code into the template at where you want the tooltips to start and end showing.

I can setup 4-U if you give me temporary access to your test forum or main forum???

I will update this mod with better CMPS support and a few other options soon...

I have some feature requests:

1. Enable this mod to work for forumdisplay.php

2. Provide an option so that balloon tooltips display the preview text of first posts for links to threads, preview text of last posts for links to last posts, and preview text of events for links in calendars.

3. Fix TTips.js so that errors are not reported for links that do not have balloon tooltips.

This mod would be super-awesome if you could provide these features in a future update. ;)

No, it doesn't.

Error in log:
File does not exist: /home/username/public_html/forums/clientscript/ttips_js

Why is it calling a non existent file?

You've also got a typo in your bbcode example.
